YOUR league desperately needs more volunteer umpires! The league provides in-depth training, shirt, hat, indicator and brush for all volunteers and there is equipment for everyones use. Our program would not be as successful as it is if it wasn't for the dedication of our volunteer umpires. While other leagues around the nation have succumbed to the need to hire paid umpires, Central Springfield has consistently been blessed with moms, dads, and teens who willingly give up a little more of their free time to provide quality umpires for all our games.

If you have any questions regarding becoming an umpire, training, rules, positioning and mechanics, or any other issue on umpiring, you can use the Message Board to post your questions so others can share in the learning or feel free to send me an email.

SCHEDULING: The schedule for the next week will be sent out on Wednesdays.  It tends to fill up fast so don't delay sending in your umpiring request.
