Congratulations to all our girls who went to the War Memorial for their cheerleading event on Sunday! The Flags and Mitey-Mites did a great job during the Cheerfest - -they were so cute, and they looked great! Our Pee Wees and Midgets participated in the afternoon competition and both teams looked AWESOME! Great job girls! The Midgets qualified to go on to Albany, so they'll be heading there this weekend - - let's wish them all good luck!
On another note, our Indian Mascot did an awesome job - - he led the Flags and Mitey-mites out onto the floor for their routines, and also around for the parade; he even danced with the Falcon, the Panther and the Bee! Great job, and thank you Mr. Ackley for stepping up to do that for us, the girls really love when we have a mascot with us.

Well, the season is well underway and everyone has played their first few games. We are off to a good start! It's almost time for our annual Pep Rally / Bonfire on October 2nd - - more details will be coming soon.
Parents - thank you for your support up to this point! We've had our parent volunteers in the Concession stand, selling Redmen t-shirts, selling other Redmen clothing items, and helping out with some of the events for our Pep Rally! It is the support and hard work from all our Board members and parent volunteers that keeps this program running strong and running smooth, so let's keep going!
In preparation for our 2010 Memory Book, we are asking parents to take lots of photos and send them to us as soon as you get them. For anyone who is interested in helping with the Memory book, and finding sponsors, please contact Donna Bezner, Mike Venezia or myself (Patty Hopkins). The more sponsors we get, the bigger & better our Memory book can be! Anyone interested in being a sponsor of our book can email me at pattymhopkins@aol.com.

CS Pop Warner has an open Board position available -
Fundraising Coordinator
If you are interested in helping the program out with fundraising events for the 2010 season, please contact Patty Hopkins, President, at pattymhopkins@aol.com. The Fundraising Coordinator, with help from the CS Board, will plan and carry out all fundraising events for the season, as well as attend monthly board meetings, and be responsible for presenting a year end financial account of all fundraising activities.
The Central Square Redmen Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading program would like to invite you to volunteer some of your time to help us keep our program running successfully.
Help is always needed during the season for jobs such as play checking, running the chains, field set up, working in the concession stand, helping with fundraising and much much more. Please become actively involved in your child's football or cheerleading experience by helping out whenever you can.
For many, volunteering for this program does not end when the season ends. The members of our board, and a few other parent volunteers work year round to keep this program going strong. Please feel free to contact any one of our board members if you would like to help out in any way.
