New Construction Underway
Just in time for the 2009 season, we are breaking ground for our new state of the art multi-purpose building. Over the past fifteen years, are program has grown, and now it's time to build more space.
This two story building will house a new concession stand, new bathroom facilities that will be handicap accessible, and a second floor mult-purpose meeting room / press box. This new building will be something everyone in the program and the community can enjoy.
Of course, expansion means work, and hopefully people will step up to the plate and volunteer to help us out. The construction will involve many different areas, from building construction to plumbing, electric, painting, and more. We have a large program with lots of resources, and we are hoping some of you will join in with your special talents to help finalize this project in time for the 2009 season.
We would like to set up a call list with information on the resources everyone is willing to provide. As the work progresses and different services are needed, we would contact people with specific work dates based on what they've said they can help with.
If you would like to help out and be added to the list, please send an email to our Public Relations Director, Jerry Donegan, at porkman97@twcny.rr.com and let him know what type of services you are able to donate.
Volunteers Needed!
As always, the success and growth of our program is dependent on all of our volunteers. We thank those who have helped out in the past, and invite those who haven't to help out this year. For those of you who are new to the program, volunteering even 2-3 hours a week during practice or 1-2 hours during home games can be a big help. Volunteers are needed for Concession stand, helping with Fundraising, setting up the fields, running errands during the week - you name it!
Helping out with the program can be lots of fun, and a great way to involve yourself in your children's sports activities!!!
