Play: Team Ks kick-off lands at the 6 yd line and bounces in the air. R34 possesses the ball at his 3 yd line and his momentum carries him into the EZ, where he is tackled by K66.
Ruling: 1st/10 for R at 3 yard line, beanbag spot of possession ie 3 yd line.
Play: With less than 2 minutes in the game, Team A is in a hurry-up offense. WR A89 runs a long pass pattern and does not return to his teams huddle. A89 remains outside the nine-yard marks and goes into position near the sideline on the LOS. A89 catches a pass.
Ruling: Flag at snap for illegal formation, 5 yard penalty from previous spot.
Play: QB A12 throws a legal forward pass to A32. A32 catches the pass and remains behind the LOS. A32 then throws a forward pass to A89 beyond the LOS. A89 is legally contacted by B23 prior to A89 touching the ball.
Ruling: Illegal forward pass, 5 yard penalty from spot of the pass and loss of down.
Play: With: 02 left in the 4th quarter, Team A is down 20-15. 1st and 10, ball at B-30, clock will start on the snap. QB A12 runs to the B-10 and is about to get tackled, when he throws a forward pass into the EZ where A89 catches the pass for a touchdown. Time expires.
Ruling: Illegal forward pass, 5 yard penalty from spot of the pass and loss of down. The quarter is not extended for an untimed down for fouls that include a loss of down, thus the game is over.
