I would like to comment on the Girls and Boys 5A games at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Saturday March 15, 2003.
I was throughly impressed with the professionalism and level of the officiating at both of these games. It was refreshing to see two strong women on the court guiding and ensuring sportsmanship and safety for those young female athelete's.
I believe these two officials not only serve to promote women in the profession, but also serve as role models to their young charges.
Thank you for the opportunity to see such great basketball done in such a professional manner

Anchorage Sports Officials Association

Greetings from Alaska. To our good fortune, a member of CSBOA has relocated to the "Last Frontier". Mr. Bill McNew has become a welcome member of the Anchorage Sports Officials Association.

I thought that the "draw" for state was going to happen on Feb. 24 ( as told by Dan Manning at the Feb 4 meeting. Also, it seems that a few prominent names are not listed on the "picked to do state games" list: Lutz
       Lave
       Exum
       Burks
       Hall
       Peterson
       Van Gampleare
       Montel
       Samuels
       Malmquist
       Brooks

       Gotchall?

I guess I'm still confused over how the process works... if someone could enlighten me, I really would appreciate being contacted. Good luck to those that have been "picked" and to those yet to be picked.
