CSA U13 Girls "Strike Squad" Finish First in the Inaugural Mandeville Labor Day Tournament (2009)
On their way to the final, the U13 Girls defeated GCUFC (5-0) and Lakeview (5-1) and fell to Mandeville (0-2) in bracket play. In the final, the Strike Squad faced Mandeville once again, victorious with a 4-1 margin to win the tournament.

CSA Cosmos U13 Boys Premier Team win the Louisiana Premier State Cup Championship! The CSA Cosmos, coached by Steve Macanespie, prevailed over CSC Fury Blue 1-0 in Mandeville, LA! Cosmos will participate in the Region III Premier League next year, as well as participate in the US Club Soccer National Championships.

CSA Cosmos players named to U12 Boys Superclubs National Team!
Cosmos Players Julian Sutton and Joe Roberts have been named to the U12 Boys Superclubs National Team. The two CSA players will travel to England in August for 11 days of training with England's top youth academy sides. The U12 Boys team will play English Premier League Academy teams Fulham, Blackburn, Bolton, and West Ham.
CSA '97 (U12G) Girls Premier Team - Vulcan Cup Finalists
The CSA premier girls U12 "Strike Squad", coached by Winston Lewis, returned to the championships of the gold division of Birmingham's regionally respected Vulcan Cup tournament this spring, and advanced to the finals, losing 1-0 to the U12 girls team currently ranked tenth in the nation.
Every game getting to the finals was exciting and close. This is the eighth tournament Strike Squad has entered during their 2008-2009 season. In all eight tournaments, the team made the finals of the top division, and in five they were champions.

CSA U13 soccer players Collin St. Pierre, Peter Brooks, Joe Roberts, and Christopher Higginson (who participate locally for CSA's nationally ranked U13 Premier Team, CSA Cosmos ('96)) have been invited to participate in the US Club Soccer Nike id2 program, attending the Regional Training Camp at Frisco, TX, November 13-16, 2008. US Club Soccer's Nike id2 Regional Training Camps bring together the nation's top youth players for four days of competition, evaluation and fun. Players are identified to participate in the id2 Regional Training Camps as a result of a year-long scouting program. An invitation-only event, the id2 Regional Training Camps also seek to identify and develop the country's best players for inclusion in US Soccer's youth national team programs. US Soccer Youth Development Program staff are in attendance at the id2 Regional Training Camps to monitor players' performances. Scouts from across the country identify players for inclusion in the id2 Regional Training Camps as they compete in their own environment with their club teams. id2 scouts evaluate players at all US Club Soccer National Cup Regionals, as well as at matches and tournaments staged throughout the year.

CSA '97 (U12) Girls Premier Team "Strike Squad", coached by Winston Lewis won the Gold Division Championship at 2008 Crossroads Tournament held in Jackson, MS, defeating their opponent 5-4 in the championship game.
Tuesday, October 14
CSA '93 (U16) Girls D1 Team, the "Pickles" coached by Andy Smothermon, were finalists in the Fall 2008 Cajun Classic in Lafayette held the weekend of Oct 11-12. They out-played the CSC U14 Rage premier team in the Finals, but lost 1 to 0 on a questionabe call by the referee (admitted to by the opposing coach) late in the game that resulted in a penalty kick goal. Way to go "Pickles"!

NOU '94 (U15) Girls Premier Team, coached by Andy Smothermon, were Finalists at 2008 Baton Rouge United Cup. Their only loss through the tournament was to a tough Mississippi Fire team in the Championship Game.

CSA's Cosmos '96 Boys Premier Team won the U13 Boys Gulf Coast Fall Classic Championship this weekend with victories over Gulf Coast United Futbol Club (5-0), Mississippi Fire Boys (2-1), and Mobile Soccer Club (1-0). The team is coached by Steve Macanespie.
Goal scorers for the Cosmos included Luca Allesandrini, Julian Sutton, Beau Lemaire, Joe Roberts, Louis Jaubert. The team was lead defensively by the backline of Quentin Marks, Stinson Hebert, Chris Higginson, Max Perret, and Jake Simoneaux which as a team have only conceded 4 goals in the last 7 tournament games.
The CSA Cosmos begin the week ranked #80 in the country in latest USA Rank listings following last week's Finalist finish at Gator Classic 2008 and this week's Championship at Gulf Coast Fall Classic.

CSA '92 (U16) Premier Girls, coached by Matt Millet, succeeded in League Play this weekend defeating Shreveport 3-2 with only 11 players.

NOU '96 (U13) Girls Premier Team is a Finalist at the Florabama Showcase. Coached by Alec Lundberg, the girls defeated Perdido 4-1, tied Navarre 2-2 and tied Bayside 1-1 in bracket play before losing a heartbreaker in PK's to Bayside. Mika scored 7 goals, Alyssa 2 and Talia 1 over the course of the weekend.

CSA '99 (U10) Division I Boys take home Championship at 2008 Lafreniere Gator Classic
CSA's U10 Boys Division 1 team, coached by Aris Kyriakides, won the Lafreniere Gator Classic’s Silver Division with a record of 2-0-1 to finish as the only undefeated team in an 8 team field.
