The baseball 2008 season is once again upon us. Please visit the baseball page for important information regarding the upcoming season including all of the important dates to remember.

The ground breaking ceremony for Camarda Park was held on Saturday , March 29th. The ceremony was attend by many of the elected officials in the town of Carmel and Putnam County government, town of Carmel personnel, and many of the volunteers from the Carmel Sports Association, the Mahopac Sports Association, and various other park and recreation commitees. The 2008 baseball photo shoot is scheduled for the following dates and times. All photo sessions will be held at the Carmel High School, in the gym lobby. Payments for the photos are now being taken by SPORTOGRAPHY directly. They accept cash in the EXACT amount, check, or credit card. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your sceduled time so we can all stay on schedule

TUESDAY MAY 13, 2008

The Patterson Little League (PLL) and Carmel Sports Association (CSA) will be holding tryouts for the 2008 Williamsport Tournament teams on Saturday, May 17th @ 5 pm. (this tournament is seperate from the summer travel baseball programs).

9 and 10 year old players will tryout at the Matthew Patterson Elementary School field.

11 thru 14 year old players will tryout at the Peckham Fields.

In the event of inclement weather, please call the PLL telephone hotline (878-3567) for possible postponement of tryouts.

ALL PLL and CSA players qualify to tryout.
