Pam Konken Signs with Brenau

Pam Konken, Crush 18s Team, has committed to play volleyball at Brenau University beginning in Fall 2013!

Head Coach Jeff White is proud to announce the signing of Pamela Konken (Woodland HS, Stockbridge, GA) to an Athletic Grant in Aid contract.

"Pam is another strong addition to the 2013 recruiting class entering Brenau this fall", says White. "Her high school went to the Elite 8 this season and she was voted to the AAAA All-State Team. She also earned Area 4-AAAA Player of the Year honors, served as team captain in 2011 and 2012, and was a four-year starter at Woodland High School. We are lucky she will be a Golden Tiger"

Pam's high school teams reached the Elite 8 in 2012, and the second round in 2011 and 2009. While at Woodland, Pam helped her school to a 114-49 record, ranked in the GHSA top 50 in kills, kills/set, aces, aces/set, digs, digs/set (2012, 2010), and is the first athlete to have her jersey retired at the school. During her career she amassed 1037 kills, 889 digs, 349 aces, 84 blocks, and a 0.340 kills percentage.

Pam also excels in the classroom, holding a 3.93 GPA and #11 ranking in a class of 375. Pam is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Spanish Club, and Environmental Club. She intends to major in Business Administration

Malika Gardner, Crush 18s Team, has committed to play volleyball at Tennesse Temple!
