SCSA softball had jampack tournament this weekend , over 20 teams were out there in two divisions , they had to use all four fields and we ended up playing from 8;00am first game to the championship game at 10:00pm ! thats was a long day ! we played a total of seven game and just ran out of gas ! but we did come in second place and won a set of long sleeve shirts ..... nice job guys , all  becuase we had guys drop out and we picked up players that morning and still made it to the champioship game ... thanks Eric C. and Mike F. and also Jeff P.  & T-Rex  for coming out with short notice and help N out !!!!!!!!!!!

Crunch Time went out to the yard in fullerton this weekend , we just wanted to get some work in have some fun
it was nice to get out there and see alot of old friends and get some games in.....

Game 1 Vs Dirty Dozen
great game are defence was strong all threw the game and heald to two runs , we hit right from the start and put up runs in all four inning that we played and won the game 13-2

Game 2 Vs Lite "em up
this started out as a close game , it was four to four then they took the lead at 7-4 after two innings then there cather opened his mouth and fired myself and the team up , so we opened up a can ! we plated 13 runs in the third inning, and went on to win
22-8 in four innings

Game 3 Vs Unleashed
well we must have blew or wad in the last game because we could not put nontibg to gether in this game , we lostr this game in five innings 12-4 ...... on to the plaoffs now

game 4 Vs Bottoms up
this game sucked , we hit great but or pitching killed us we walked way to many batters and it camer back to bite us in the ass
we gave up eleven runs in the top of the fourth inning and with run out we lost 23-19 .... day over

This past weekend Crunch Time was one of Four teams from southern califorian to go to Las Cruces,New Mexico to play in the USSSA "hispanic" worlds tournament ,we took off driving on thursday night four cars and 15 people made the 11 hour drive which was not so bad , i guess what made it so easy to do it was boys weekend and we had fun all the way up there and back with only one thing that was not planed on, bret getting a ticket going up there... when its all doen and said we placed 13th out of 48 teams and ended up 4th in the nation over all... we could have done alot better then we played but all & all i am very proud of my team !

Game 1 Vs LJR Woodies ( El Paso TX)
They came out first and tryed to Caca hit to a victory, they scored for runs in the first to are zero ! but i pulled my outfield in on them to take that away, because there no homeruns i took the chance they hit more out then over my guys heads and it worked they did not score one more run and went on to win 7-4.....

Game 2 Vs A's softball ( Tucson AZ)
in this game we stayed close for a little bit it was 6-0 then we came back with 5 to bring it to 6-5 them then two inngs later they were up 8-6 then when got to the fifth inning we just could not keep up with them and went on to lose 19-7

Game 3 Vs Mantecas (Roswell NM)
This was are best game of the day we hit like i know can! ... they jumped out front but once we got going it was are game because are defence did there job as they had been doing all day, so we went on the win this one 15-5

Game 4 Vs Latino's ( El Paso TX)
this sucked because these guys had one big inning and thats it, they scored nine in the third and we just fell short to lose this one and get sent home, we lost 13-9 end are tournament... i want thank all the guys for doing there best !

Crunch Time was out playing this weekend in the USSSA "Hispanic" State Championship,it was out at Rancho Santa susana park in Simi valley. it was a long drive out there for us and are first game was @ 9am. want to thank Manny Reyes for running a great tournament out there this weekend.and thank Shawn A. and Chris T. and Kieth B. for coming out last min to help out......

Game 1 Vs Enforcers
lets see what i remember i was a little hungover ! LOL this was a low scoring game there were lots of defensive play that shut down innings,we did not score in the first inning but every other after that,we took the lead and just kept adding a run or two, we went on to win 11-6

Game 2 Vs Dixon Cider
this was are best game on offence all day,agian in only one inning we did not score and are defence shut them down five out of seven innings,after two its was 2-2 then we push it to 10-5 after four and finished it @ 19-5..... and still hungover ! Ouch

Game 3 Vs Maldito's
are offence must have caught my hangover becuase we could not do nothing right we made base running errors were popping up they even got a triple play on us! they were up 6-1 after the fourth then we chiped away at the lead and caught them in are last at bat... had a chance to win but a double play ended it and on to extra innings,so in the bottom of the 9th David G. aka Opie got on and so did Bret so with one out they pulled there outfield inon us to hold the runner close but Shawn B. hit a deep fly ball over the centerfielder to win us the game....8-7

Game 4 Vs Tramatic
Both teams had no lose's and winner goes to the championship game,the bat were still cold but so were theres it was 0-0 after two innings,the good thing was that are infield was having there best game of the tournament then were making some great plays ! so with a few runs here and there we went on to win 8-6 and advance on....

Game 5 Vs Tramatic
Tramatic played magic in the loser bracket and pulled off a last four run inning to win and get another shot at us, but in this game are defence was fired up and let nothing by them, but are bats were not doing anything we were popping up agian and just could not get much going.... all done and said we won 4-3 to win the State Championship ,great end to a long day

Crunch Time softball played Amcom this weekend at Ayala park in Chino,ca we were going to play USSSA "E" States in Riverside but are roster did not pass and frank Vega said no.

Game 1 Vs Animal House
Well we hit good and the defence was on so it only took five innings to finish this game we won 13-1

Game 2 Vs Corona softball
we came out on fire at banged out 11 runs in the bottom of the first,and by running everthing down in the outfield we went on to win this game in five innings also @ 20-7

Game 3 Vs ?
This team was 0-3 in round robin play and there pitcher was tossing up cookies so we ending are third game in a row in five innings @ 23-7

Game 4 Vs Strokin
CT was rolling at this point and just kept hitting and with open fields it was Bombs away way , Shawn hit two in this game and with Vince adding one too we whent on to win 24-5

Game 5 Vs Animal House
This was now the playoffs and winner would get a chane to play for the champioship,we jumped out front in the second at 4-1 then in the third we added four more runs to make it 8-2 we just kept hitting and won the game 16-7

Game 6 Vs Team 909
The Champioship game both teams were 5-0 and winner take all.this was a very good game and we had to come back after giving up 11 runs in the first inning we were down 11-1 then after two innings it was 14-9 them we added another 8 runs in the fourth to take the lead at 19-16 but kept hitting we were down 25-24 with are last abat ...David had a lead off double and the next three batters could not score him so we lost 25-24 and took second place.

Game 1 Vs Wear It Beaver
We all rolled in kinda late but with enough time not to forfiet,so when it was time to play we were a little sloe out the box, but we hung close untill we busted open with are last two abats it was 3-6 then 5-6 and with a 4 run & five run 6th & 7th inning we won 14-6

Game 2 Vs PSC
it this game they just out hit us,we could not get going and held on for most of the game then at the end they plated a few more to just put it out of reach and we lost 15-4

Game 3 Vs 29 palms
this was a better game for us but at this point it was tough on the batters the sun was right in there eyes when it was time to swing and i guess we could see the ball just a little bit better and won the game 11-5

Game 4 Vs Miramar
This game we came out hitting and jumped out front 6-3 then in the next two innings there bat went cold but are added four more runs and we could see they were getting down now that is was 10-3 ,now the bull*** started and the catcher started to get loud and a few plays on the bags looked like dirty plays and thats players and fans started talkin smack back and fourth,but after a few min's it was cool agian and we just played ball and beat them 13-6

Game 5 Vs Ego Extreme
This game winner goes to championship and would have to double dip PSC , the day and the fact we played three tourney's in a row took its toll on the team we had a few hurt players but we moved players around and gave it are best which turned out to not enough and the fact that we had FIVE double plays !! we lost 11-10 but we did score five runs that last abat to come close... day over 3-2 3rd place , great jobs boys you battled all day .

A&V softball held there 2008 Men's Ring Tournament ,it was held at Big League Dreams in Cathedral City,I belive there were 15 teams in are bracket and with a 8am first game we planed on a long day.

Game 1 Vs WS 5150
Both teams came out playing hard,they plated seven runs in the first and we came right back with six,then in the second they scored agian with two runs but we came back with four to take the lead 10-9,on to the bottom of the fourth and the score was now 10-11 us then the very next inning they had the lead 14-12 .... then it came down to are last abat and we were down 16-12 and with seven hits in a row and a sac fly we won the game 17-16

Game 2 Vs Vac Pools
The jumped out front but by the third inning we took the lead 4-3,then came are big inning and i think the most runs are team has plated in one inning in a tournament,we banged out 18 runs and just belive we sent that manys players up to bat.... we won the game 25-10

Game 3 Vs Hit Em Up
this would turn out to be another hard fought game,we jumped out front and too a good lead at 6-0 then the next inning it was 8-4 us then inthe third we pushed it to 11-8 but the stop scoring and they chiped away and came close but we one it 11-10... close one !

Game 4 Vs Pink Sushi
This was a big game both teams 3-0 and winner goes to the cahmpionship ! the boys came threw in this one are defence was on fire ! shuting them down inning after inning and are bats were banging.... Leo, Stevie ,Guillermo came up with some key hits to help us win a big game of the day 19-7 ......

Game 5 Vs The Unit
Well this game had to come sooner or later with the The Unit having Five players from last years Crunch Time team,it made a tuffer game then just for "Rings" but all & all its just softball the game both love to play,On to the game! we jumped out front and that was good for us, it was 7-2 CT after the first inning then in the second it was 11-10 us ... wow this was great both teams playing hard not wanting to lose.... 14-17 us after three innings then in the fourth we did not score and they tied it up 17-17 then in the fifth we were up18-20 and in the very next inning we banged out six runs with the help from carlos hittin a base clearing triple to push the lead to 26-18 and with there team not scoring in the top of the 7th we won the game the tournament and first game of playing each other ! and sure there will be many more hard fought games,and congrats to my friends on the team for playing hard and rolling the lose's bracket. And to my team great Job you guys make me proud every tournament ! Bling Bling !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went out to Quakes Staduim in Rancho Cucamonga to play A& V Softball tournements this past weekend.

Game 1 Vs Keep It Simple
This was not a good start,we were behide in the first few innings the we came back to take the lead with a 8 run third inning but they did not give up and tied it up in the 7th inning @ 12-12 and we could not win the game with the hammer and lost in the cailf tie breaker 15-14.....

Game 2 Vs Cocky Atl
In this game we jumped out front and the shut them down with are defence we went on to win 10-4

Game 3 Vs Camadares
It was super hot out and this point and both teams were draging but we did get some hits and runs here and there and won this game 8-1

Game 4 Vs Lightsout
We gave this game to them we made errors in the first inning and gave up three runs and could not put nothing together and with time run out we lost 5-4 ! Dammit !! day over (2-2 ) 4th place out of 8 teams

USSSA softball was out at Big League Dreams in Riverside,Ca. There was three brackets out there two "E" & a "D" tournaments

Game 1 Vs Chunkey Dunkers
This game was set up at 8:00 am but thay did not make in time for the game so we got are first win of the day by forfiet 7-0

Game 2 Vs Dixson Cider
This game was played on field #6 and there was lots of wind which held up most fly balls and this gave are outfield better chance to run things down and we did we shut them out for three innings and took a 5-0 lead,we gave up a few late inning runs but went on to win 11-6

Game 3 vs Vs Longshots
we were on the same field and the same result a low scoreing game and not much going on in this game... we won 5-1

Game 4 vs Sneak Attack (Unrated)
This was the winners bracket and both teams had no lose's and winner goes on to championship game,we just busted out hitting and plated a total of seven runs in the first ,we gave up one run in the bottom half on the inning and that was it the rest of the game.... we ended it in five innings 18-1

Game 5 vs Longshots
this was the championship game and a hard fought game,we were down after two innings 12-5 because we gave up six runs in each inning then in the third we down 9-14 but in the next inning we did not give any away and added five of are owe we tied it @ 14-14... it was down there last up's add they needed 3 to win and they did ! we lost 18-17 and now send it to the "IF" game+

Game 6 Vs Longshots
Wow ! way to end the day playing are ass's off as a TEAM ! picking each other up and banging with are defence playing hard and Albert having a solid game in the middle ...........we banged out seven runs in the fourth to extend our lead at 11-1 then we closed it out with a 10 run sixth inning to push the even bigger @ 21-4 so time was out and we held on to win the "IF" game 21-7 ...tournament champs 5-1 !! great job boys and most off all it was a team win even the guys on the bench in the last game playing a big part in this win Thanks to all my players for a great job all day !!

This was another great weekend for crunch Time Softball moving another step closer to are goels for this season,we played are seconnd USSSA "Hispanic" Tournament ,it was held at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia and i belive there were 13 teams out there.

Game Vs Cocky Atl
We had a good start and banged out 4 runs in the first & second innings and with are defence holding its owe we stayed in front all game but they did not give up they closed the gap in the fourth inning @ 11-10 but then in the fifth we plated 9 runs to close out the game @20-10

Game 2 Vs Whiskey Dicks
We thought this would be a very close game but they could not get there bats going and it showed in the score we banged every inning and they scored 3 runs total in four innings and the game was over 18-3

Game 3 Vs Dirty Dawgs
it seams like every time we play each other we have a close game,and this was the same we hit they hit they made a play we made a play so it was 1-3 then 5-6 then they took a 7-6 lead but then we came back with 8 runs in the fifth inning and closed the door and won they game 19-11

Game 4 Vs Underated/420
This was a tuff game went back and fourt until the fifth inning when we yook a 14-11 lead then in the next 17-13 so it came down to the 7th inning and they banged the runs they needed to tie the game so with are last up's Andy got a hit the David gonzales grounded out the David giestist got a hit they walked Billy to load the bases and up came greg Schoen to lazer a shot over the shortstopd head to win the game 18-17

Champioship Game ! it was a long day and we would have to be double diped so W.D. called it ...... forfiet 7-0 day over Tournament Champs !!!!

Crunch Time went out this weekend and played in the 2008 Bat Wars @ Big League Dreams in West Covina,ca
it was a two day event April 19th & 20th,there was 24 teams in the Men's "E"bracket

Game 1 Vs No Excuse
We had a 8am game so we had a few people show at game time but we over came that and came out hitting,we plated nine runs in 1th & 2ns innings but they came back and tied the score,it was close all game but we pulled it off 17-14

Game 2 Vs Yer -Out
this game our defence had to pull it off our offence was slow to start , they had the lead for five of the seven innings we played, we ended with two strong innings scoring eight runs two there one and won this one 14-8

Game 3 Vs Cocky Ath
both teams did not light up the scoreboard much but with back to back five run innings in the 3rd & 4th we came out on top 12-6 and ending are sat at 3-0 and would have to come back sun at 10am

Game 4 Vs Kuruption
10am sun and everbody on time ! this was a good start we banged out nine runs in the second and jumpedout front early,and are defence shuting them down with nice catches in the outfield,we went on to win 24-9

Game 5 Vs Team GOB
both teams were 4-0 and winner goes to championship game,we had enough chances two win this and also gave too many runs on errors and buy leaveing the bases loaded on two diifrent times we went on to lose 13-8

Gamr 6 Vs Team Ruckus
we both scored runs in the first then as the game went on the long day came in to play,they had to run the loser's bracket and this was there 6th or 7th game of the day and it showed they did not score there last three innings and we did and we won the game 14-5

Game 7 Vs Team GOB
This what we wanted a chance to get even but we would have to double dip them,this was the championship game !
So we came out hitting and turned it up on defence and with brett makeing great catches in the outfield and Albert stopping the shots up the middle we came out on top in this game,with the of our bats banging out in the 3rd & 5th inning we won this game 12-8 when time ran out.

Game 8 vs Team GOB
The "IF" game !!! just to get here was great because both games before they & there fans were very loud and acted like they had the tourney rapped up.... But dont count this team out because they showed heart all weekend and came out right from the start,we banged out eight run in the first and had are best defence of the tourney,brett Cowan made a ESPN catch in Ceneter field and agian Albert farias was making the plays up the middle,we went on to win 22-11 !!!!!!

USSSA Softball held a ten team "hispanic" Tournament this past Weekend at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia ca,Manny Reyes was giving out prizes for 1st thru 4th ,first place was a set of Elite jackets.

Game 1 Vs Serio
Crunch Time was ready to go early this time are offence played a big part in this game,we banged out a total fourteen runs in the first four innings and only gave up 2 runs so its was 14-2 and went on to only give up two more in the game and went on to win the game 23-4.

Game 2 Vs Diamond Dogs
This was a close game and both teams were playing hard we went back and fourth,its eas 3-1 then 4-4 in the third inning,then in the fifth they plated five runs to take a 9-5 lead but we came right back with eight of or owe to take a 13 -9 lead and with both not putting up no more runs in the last two innings it ended that way 13-9

Game 3 Vs Dirty Dawgs
We took control of this game in the first inning,we banged out eight runs and just kept hitting ,are defence made a few double plays to just shut them down and with the team putting up runs all game we went on to win 21-6

Game 4 Vs Chicano Bulls
At this point bulls teams were 3-0 and the winner would advance to the championship game ,and are last years pitcher and Good friend Gus Zavala was throwing the Rock for them......we jumped out front and plated five runs then two more in the second to have the leed 7-3 then they came back with seven runs to go up 10-7 then two more in the next inning the were up 12-7 and with are team not scoring in the 3rd 4th & 5th and time run out it came down to are last atbat....Carlos,T/rex,greg banged out singles David r. made the first out the David G. walked then Leo and Vince got a hit to load the bases and up came Brett to Jack a grand Slam walk off Homerun to win the game !!!!!! Very Nice

Game 5 Vs Dirty Dawgs
This was the Champioship game and with a long break it took a a few innings to get going,but when we did we busted out big with a fourteen run third inning,that put us up 15-6 ! and with a big lead and the defence shuting them down the last four innings we won the game 21-6 ! nice job boys 5-0 tournament Champs

PSTS softball held a 18 team tournament out at the HB Sports complex in Huntington beach,First place prize was jackets and
Brain split it in to three brackets.

Game 1 Vs Hard Luck
It was a good start we hit the ball and are defence was ready righr from the start we had great plays from Greg at SS and Tony in the OF to shut them down most of the game,the scoreing went from 4-2 to 7-6 then 12-6 us and with a 10 run sixth inning we closed out the game at 22-6

Game 3 Vs Just Drink
we moved over to field two and the wind was blowing in from the outfield and it was tuff for are team to get going it showed in the score,we made a few errors in this one to kept there innings going giving extra out all game we were behind all game it was 4-0 ,6-5 ,12-5 14-10 and in are last abat we were down six and could only plate two runs and lost 16-12

this was the championship game,they banged out six runs to take the lead 6-1 after one inning but we caught fire after that and plated 10 runs then 6 runs in the next two innings jump out front17-11 then are defence took over and with Billy shuting down the middle we blanked them in there last three abats and won the game 21-11.. nice job guys

A & V Softball was out a Quakes in Rancho Cucamonga,there were eleven teams in are bracket.This tured out to be a long day with cold temp & Rain all day.

Game 1 Vs Top Notch
We started the game with nine players,but are bats were are fire from the first pitch and rolled out eleven runs in the first and with solid defence we blanked them the first three innings ,are bats were still doing well all game and went on to win 20-9 in six innings

Game 2 Vs Young Guns
Still could not find a ninth player and the ones that were going to be here never made it so we played game two with nine agian, Young Guns hit all game but only scoring a few runs here and there ,With pitching a good Game and Guillermo AKA T-Rex having a solid game at Shortstop we kept coming back....it was 5-6 then 7-5 them afterfour innings then in the fifth we plated five to take the leed 10-9 then added five more in are last abat to win 15-11

Game 3 Vs Infamous
Well we got are 10th player ! Thanks Frankie for coming out on such short notice....in the first inning both teams plated thre runs then we went cold the next two abats and they banged out nine in the second two take a 12-3 lead but then they slowed down and gave a shot at coming back but we just could not get going and lost are first game of the day 17-8

Game 4 Vs Feerless (Blue Ray)
This game was later in the day and Al went to a 2-2 count with one to waste to get the hole tourney in because of rain and muddy fields.... this was a very good game both teams hitting going back and fourth it was 4-3 then 5-4 then we took the lead at 8-5 then in the fifth we banged out nine runs to take a big lead.... but thay did not give up a camne back at us and came close but fell short and we won the game 17-14

Game 5 vs Young Guns
We jump out front in this won but at this point the fields were *** and the ump wsa not callin there picther on the high pitch... to make it hard are i guys to know if they should swing our not..... we went back and fourth 7-6 then 10-8 then 18-15 us , but with there last abat they scored four runs to win the game 19-18 and end our day ! 3-2 and fourth place out of eleven teams ... Good job Boys ....

This was not the start we wanted to get of to we left way to many base runners on and made a few errors to give them runs,we just could not get going and it showed in the score we lost 10-6

This was not are day,we gave up runs every inning and put up three gosse egg's in five innings,they junped out front with a 9 run second inning and just kept hitting so we went on to lose 18-6 .... day over 0-2 B B Q

Ballaholicks Bat Tourney was held this weekend in Rancho Cucamonga at Quakes Stadium,there were 13 teams out there looking to win 12 brett helmer 120 Bats.

Game 1 Vs The Show
Both teams came out hitting with us plateing four runs to there three and then in the sencond we lost the lead but after that we took over the game and shut them down for five innings and with a eight run third we went on to win 15-6

Game 2 Vs Whiplash
We hit well in this game also,and are infield was making the great plays and David Padilla and Guillermo Keeme had like five double plays to shut them down and lead us to a win 18-5

Game 3 Vs On Tap
Both teams were 2-0 and the winner would advance to the championship game,we were losing after two innings it was 5-4 but in the third we banged out seven runs and took the lead 11-7 and in the sixth inning they tied it up at 12-12 so it was down to the seventh and last inning,both teams plated four runs and showed alot of fight left not giving up one bit,then in extra innings we both scored four more runs to make it 16-16 so it was on to the next and with added five runs and the are defence shut them down to win the game 21-16 and move on the championship game......

THis was not we wanted to happen but it did we lost the championship game and would have to play the "IF" game,are offence went dead in this game and we lost 16-3

Wow this was a great and hard fought game we battled all game went back and fourth it was 6-0 them then 6-4 after two innings the in the fourth we plated 7 runs but thay came back and tied it with five runs to make it 12-12.... both teams ended up going middle and that sucked but it happens .... we losted the lead when they scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and the shut us down in are last abat.....Day Over Double Diped.... Ouch ! so we did not get the Bats but we did get Roller bat bags for 2nd place

This game both teams had a slow start,we had a score of 4-2 after two innings then in the fourth we added eight runs and they came back in there half with five so at this point the score was 13-7 with time running out we played one more inning and we plated five runs to there two and went one to win 18-9

We hit great this game and are defence did just fine and we jumped out front with four on the first and added eight more the very next inning we did not score in the next inning but with are defence shuting them down all game we won the game in four innings at 26-2

Game 3 Vs Stac Pac
The team was rolling along at this point and we put up 3,12,8 runs in are first three innings and are defence held them to four runs,we played one more inning and gave no runs and won the game in four innings at 23-4

Game 4 Vs No Mames
this was the playoffs now,both teams did not start out on fire and the score showed it was 5-3 us then after two more innings the score was 15-7 us,we played all seven innings this game and went on to win 17-10

Game 5 Vs Spider Pig & Fagol
Dont if at got the name right of this team but i did no most of the players and the team was stacked!This was the championship game it was one game take all ......we held our owe all game we were down all game but this was no blow out it was 6-3 ,14-11 & 16-17 after four innings then our offence ran out of gas and did not score the last three innings and they did we lost 28-17 in seven innings...... day Over 4-1 and second place.

USSSA softball held the end of the seasons mixed "D" & "E" Tournament at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. First prize was 3 bats plus shirts so we thought give a shot.

Game 1 Vs Unrated
We played this game on field number one with a short fence but they made it one up on the homeruns,we gave up two grand slam's and a three run shot which hurt us in the end we just could not come back and lost 15-12

Game 2 Vs Los Raiders
this game was on the Huge Baseball field so no homerun rule here,we jumped out front with five runs in the first and three in the second to take a 9-3 lead but then let back in by not plateing any runs the nect two innings,they scored eight runs in there 4th & 5th,but with are team still hitting we won the game 20-14

Game 3 Vs Dirty Dogs
dont no what went wrong but we just could not buy a hit after we scored three in the first and they just got a few hits here and there but i think they had a little extra help with there "OJ" bat ! .................. we lost 9-3 but the bottom line if we hit we win so thats on us....
seven hits in seven innings is not going to do it... Day Over

Crunch Time was going to play in The A & V Toyrney in La Verne but it was rained out
So called George with SCSA and went out to The Yard and played in his tournament,He Had 15 teams out there in his Toys 4 Tots.....

Game 1 Vs Double Dose
We got behind right from the start and had to try and get back in this game,but was going to be tuff we playing field # 4 which is a open field so every body just free swing all game,we were down 9-4 then 16-9 and went on to lose 16-11

Game 2 Vs Chao's
This was are game to lose and lose we did we were up all game until there last abat and when they droped 14 runs on us to take a 20-13 lead and go on to win 20-14

Game 3 Vs Balls Underwood
This was a very close game both teams were 0-2 and giving it everthing they had left,the game went from 3-2 to 9-7 then 15-12 and ended with CT wining the game 17-15

Game 4 Vs Team OOOH
We ended this game in four innings,they took a early lead at 5-1 then we plated 15 run in the third inning and shut them down the next inning at it was over 16-5

Game 5 Vs Bad Boys
this was a very good game the was back and fourth all game but we just fell short in the end and by giving up seven runs in the 7th inning we blew it and lost 15-9.......Day Over 

Crunch Time went out to play in the Toys 4 Tots tournament at "the Yard" in Fullerton this weekend,there were eleven teams out there .We went out this weekend to play ball and have a good time and do what we all love to do Play ball ... I got a call from Leo Gaytan that he could not make it this weekend because of a lose in his family..... so Crunch Time Dedicated this tournament to the Gaytan's and send prayers to them on there lose in there family.....

Game 1 Vs Team Nunya
Are pitcher was running late so it let this get out of control from the start both back up pitchers did there best but we gave up thirteen in the first and just went down hill from there we went on to lose 29-7 in four innings....

Game 2 Vs Team OOOH
We were back on track with Gus pitching and played a good game,both teams played solid defence to keep the game close it 4-8 then 9-9 in the third then in the last inning they took a 15-10 lead but we game right back to win the game with six runs ..... 16-15

Game 3 Vs Bangsville
in this game are outfield kept us in the game we were playing on the open field # 3 and you could just free swing,we were up all game it was 5-2 & 7-6 then we took a 10-6 lead so in came down to there last abat but they fell short and lost 10-8

Game 4 Vs Team Nunya
This game did not count we had to play them to give them there fourth game and then we were to start the playoffs.... but with Gus pitching the game it was a better game then the last one,were down 12-1 in the third but in are last three abats we plated 6,7,6 runs to make it a close game but we did fall short and lose 23-21.....

Game 5 Vs Neighborhood
this was the playoffs and we came out banging,and with Guillermo and Jeff holding down the left side of the infield we shut them down all game we went on to win 16-6

Game 6 Vs Longshots

Championship Game this were we wanted to be,it was real cold and made it hard to warm up,we were down 10-1 after two innings and in the third inning the lights went out and would take 20 mins to go back on,so i asked george to do co champs and he said yes but Longshots wanted to play on field #2 and finish the game so we packed up and went over there...so it was 1 out fours runs in and we just kept banging and put up 12 runs to take the lead 13-10...we were fired up at this point and just kept hitting and with the help of David P. running down fly balls in Leftcenter we went on to beat them 23-12

SCSA softball held a ten team tournament out at the yard on saturday,it was our third tourney in a row out at the yard we are just trying to stay local have fun and put a solid team back together,but most of just have fun out there.

Game 1 Vs Getting loaded
we came out banging and plated runs every inning and held them scoreless in three out of five innings that we played,and with a 12 run fourth ining we pushed the lead to 21-8 so with time running out the scored 8 run to make it close but we won the game 21-16

Game 2 Vs KMA
this was a great game both teams played solid defence and both teams hit the ball well,we had a great first inning by plating 14 runs, but in the third they tied the game at 15-15 and in the fourth we both scored 5 runs and made the score 20-20 and time also ran out so we had to go to the cailf tie breaker,they scored 1 run in there half of the inning and we scored 2 runs to win the game 22-21

Game 3 Vs Team Ughhh
this game only went four innings as we put up more runs then last every inning we played we mercied there team 22-5.

Game 4 Vs DMX
Now we we in the playoffs and are team was playing at the top of there game,in the first inning we scored five runs to there four but in the second inning we took over this game by sending 28 batters to the plate and put up tourmanet high of 23 runs in one inning..... Wow !! first out was the 21st batter ..... so the game was in control and we ended the game in there innings at 37-15

Game 5 Vs Stac Pac
this was  the championship game and we have played each other for years now and this would be another close game just like the rest,we fell behind in the start we down 9-5 then 11-8 but with a 11 run fourth inning we took the lead 20-14 but gave it back in the sixth at 26-24 so it came down to the seventh inning and they added 2 more runs to there lead to make 28-24 and left up to our last three out to get a win...so ray started the inning with a hit then Andy got the only out of the inning next then Leo,Brett,CarsonJim,David,Peter and David all banged out hits to drop five runs on them and win the game and Championship 29-28..... Nice job

Crunch Time softball went out to "The Yard" this weekend in Fullerton,ca . George from SCSA held a small six mens tourney and a four team coed tourney.

Game 1 Vs OCP
This game we just hammered we gave up 13 runs in the first and just could not come we did a better job on defence the next few innings but are bats never took over so we went on to lose big....28-8

Game 2 Vs No Mames
this game we droped 13 runs on the other team and then gave them seven back in there have of the inning but then we shut them down, and we just kept banging and ended it in four innings at 29-8

Game 3 Vs Our Time
this was another  game were our offence did a great job and are defence made the plays so agian we came away with a win and also ended it early in five innings with a score of 23-9

Game 4 Vs OC Hitmen
this was now the playoffs and the team was playing great ! we droped 16 runs on them in the first and this seamed to get there whole team because could not get there bats going after that, they are a solid team and most of the time give us a tuff game,we kept playing hard and plated more runs and shut them down the rest of the way and went on to win big 32-9

Game 5 Vs OCP
this was the championship game,this started out close and i was feeling good about getting a win with are defence playing great and with the game cole for the first three innings it was 9-7 them after three then they had two big innings were they scored eight and nine runs to take a big lead on us and go on to beat us 26-9
so that ended are day 3-2 and in 2nd place.......

SCSA softball held a eighteen team tournament this past weekend,George put us in eight team upper division and had the rest of the teams in the lowers.the tournament was a round robin plus playoffs.

Game 1 Vs Blue Blaze
this was a team made up from Bluewater & WCB,both team had a solid game with both teams scoring in the first inning,we scored four runs to there six then we tied it in the second at 9-9 and in the third we took the lead at 13-11 but gave it back in the next inning by giving up six runs to make it  17-13,so it came down to the seventh inning and were down 20-13 and scored only four runs and came up short and lost 20-17.

Game 2 Vs LCP
this was a very good game we both played good defence and made it tuff to score,we scored four in the first to there sixth then not to much offence after that,it was 7-7 in the third then 9-9in the fourth,and then we went on to lose 13-10.

Game 3 Vs Revamped
this game only went five innings but in those five we had are best hitting of the day we even had a nine run & eight run inning,they scored in every inning but are defence shut them down before they could do to much damage and we held on to the lead and won 21-15

Game 4 Vs Stiffmons
this is now the playoffs,in this game are offence did not get on track until the fourth inning but with there offence also having a tuff time it was 5-4 them after three innings then we scored seven runs in the fourth,to take big lead and ending up holding on to the lead and won the game 18-10

Game 5 Vs Vigalates
We just could not get going in this game and with there outfield making solid plays we had a tuff time scoring they put up nine runs to are five in the first three innings then they droped five more in the fourth & fifth innings to go on to beat us 19-9 in six innings,so are days was over at 2-3 and ended up in third place.
