Fundraisers due to coaches on Friday, May 6th, 2011. Coaches need to turn in all fundraisers to a board member on Sunday, May 8th, 2011.

Practices should start after 4th of July. Each squad has it own practice time and location. Check with your coach for details. MAXIMUM PRACTICES ARE 2 TIMES A WEEK FOR 2 HOURS!!! There must be 2 coaches at every practice along with the cheerleaders health histories. Here are some simple guidelines that will help with practice...... 1.Have all the girls wear proper atire (hair up, all white cheer shoes. 2. Take attendance. 3. Always warm up. 3. Every practice have the girls practice the camp dance, camp cheer, and 6th grade dance. 4. Most of all...have fun while teaching the fundamentals of cheerleading.

This is what our organization is all about. We cheer for ALL CP Jr. Bulldog Football games REGARDLESS of the weather. If the boys are playing, we're Cheering. Have Fun! Opening day is scheduled for August 13th. Always arrive 15 minutes before the game. There has to be 2 coaches at every game. If one coach cannot be there, have a parent fill in. This parent must be paying attention to the squad and sitting with the other coach. Keep in mind that some games start late. One thing that is not mandatory but as a courtesy, have the coaches rosters with you and call the next squads coach to let them know if they are running late. Cheerleaders must cheer the entire game. During half-time, please do the "hello" cheer. Home team does theirs for the visitor side first as the other squad watches. Then the visitor squad does theirs for the home side. After that, both squads do their "hello" cheer for their own fans. Once they are done, they are allowed to play in the middle of the field (little sally walker.) Cheerleaders must be off the field by the time half-time is over. (Dont forget that home team is on the press box side. At the high school both squads will cheer on the home side.) No outside food is allowed. Patronize the concession stand. No eating during games. Remember that bleachers are slippery when they are wet. Uniforms are mandatory. Girls are allowed to wear pants under or warm-ups. If at any time a player gets injured, all cheerleaders must kneel on one knee and clap once he gets up. Please clean up after yourselves. Most of all......HAVE FUN AND SHOW SPIRIT!

CP Jr. Bulldog Cheerleading orders CUSTOM uniforms from TeamLeader. Uniform fittings will take place at registration. It is important that the cheerleader be present for registration and wear a swimming suit or leotard to get an accurate fitting. Parent/Guardian signature is required for sizing purposes. There will be a limited quantity of used uniforms for sale, which are "cash and carry". If you have any questions, please contact a board member.
