We are a GU15 Premier Team, based in Redmond, Washington.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO YET ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SEASON!

 Recent News:

Crossfire ’93 A team takes 2nd in PDA Showcase Red Bull/ECNL Championship!
The girls traveled to New Jersey to take on stiff competition from across the country in the PDA Red Bull College Showcase.  Despite a tough opening loss to Sting, they won their bracket with wins over Albertson Fury and the Mustangs.  This entitled them to battle for the Championship vs PDA on Memorial Day and it was a battle!  Crossfire started it off by scoring in the first half.  PDA tied it up toward the end of the second, sending the teams into overtime.  Both teams were exhausted having only 90 minutes between morning matches and the Championship.  Add to that humidity and 80 degree plus weather made play particularly challenging and frightening as several of our girls struggled with heat exhaustion.  Despite all, Crossfire rallied time and again, but this time, PDA was the victor scoring  their second goal in overtime.  Congratulations to PDA on a hard fought win!

Chapter closed on U15 State Cup!

Crossfire ’93 exited the State Cup run in the quarter final game against Evergreen ’93.  Although not the desired outcome, the girls are hungry for the next battle!

Congratulations to Evergreen!

On to ….Red Bull Championships!

 2009 PDA Showcase

Crossfire ’93 will be playing in the Red Bull Championships scheduled May 23 – 25th in Zarephath, New Jersey.  This weekend is final tourney in the 08/09 Red Bull series.  Teams are placed into tiers based upon performance in the other tournaments (North Carolina and Las Vegas for Crossfire ‘93) with the top-ranking teams duking it out in the Championship tier.  Crossfire ’93 is one of eight teams in that tier and will be facing the Mustangs (CAN), Sting (TXN), Albertson SC and, hopefully, the winner from Bracket A!

Good luck girls!!!!!

Crossfire G93 A McCormick PDL G15 Div 1 League Champion!

Crossfire G93-A was undefeated with 8 wins and 2 ties; taking 1st place in PDL G15 Div 1 League.  The team led the league with highest number of goals for (18) and lowest goals against (2).   Once again demonstrating why this team is rated well nationally, balancing strong defensive play with the ability to put em in the net when it counts!  Go Crossfire!!!

 LV Showcase

Crossfire G93 McCormick placed 1st in Las Vegas College Showcase Red Bull League!

Crossfire’s U15, U16 and U17 girls traveled to Las Vegas to participate in the Las Vegas College Showcase over the weekend of March 13th-15th.  Competition was fierce with the girls playing four games over three days against top ranked Texas, California, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania teams.  This proved to be a great tune-up for State Cup which begins in a few weeks!

The U15 girls took 1st place out of 32 teams from across the country based upon points and tie-breakers.  They won all four of their games; coming on strong in their final match against the 2008 U14 National Finalists, Stars of Massachusetts, winning 4 goals to 2 (the only goals scored against them in the tournament).

Crossfire 93 Schilperoort are GU14 2008 Mustang Winter Turf Invitational Champions! Janurary 13th, 8th, 2008_______________________________________________

In preparation for State Cup, Crossfire ’93 traveled to Danville, CA to compete in the Mustang Winter Turf Invitational.  It was a quick fire weekend with four games played in two days against strong competition.  Some ups and downs with two wins and one loss in bracket play (vs. Diablo Valley, San Juan and Mustangs Fury), but the girls hit their stride in the Final putting it all together offensively and defensively with a 6-0 win against Sacramento United Extreme.  Good job girls - now on to State Cup!

Crossfire Schilperoort just shy of 2007 Super Y League GU13 National Championship Title
_November 20th, 2007_________________________________________________________

After a tough final match of 90 mins (with 20 mins of overtime), the Crossfire girls lost 1-0 in PKs to the Cleveland Internationals.  The girls played hard and ‘left it all on the field’, but just could not get one in the net despite great teamwork and effort.  By the end of the 90 mins, the girls from both teams were ‘wobbly-legged’ and exhausted.   Cleveland was able to finish one ahead in the PK shootout.  An excellent game with a tough finish - but we’re very proud of the girls effort and determination throughout the entire tournament and in the final game.

Crossfire Schilperoort moves on to 2007 Super Y League GU13 National Championship Finals
_November 19th, 2007_________________________________________________________

The girls battled a strong team today.  The Atlanta Silverbacks are serious opponents.  Within the first 10 minutes, Crossfire scored a tough goal, which began with a header, and then was finished strongly with a great one on four individual effort, which left the goal frame knocked out of position by a charging defender, and the ball in the back of the net.  In another ten minutes, Crossfire earned a corner, which was played beautifully across the face of the goal, at head height, and after an initial deflection, it was skillfully left footed into the net tightly along the ground.

With the score now at Crossfire 2, Silverbacks 0, the game settled into a brawl of two competitive teams generating offense, only to be stopped by a resilient defense.  The tide ebbed and flowed through Full Time.  Great Job Silverbacks, our hats are off to you.  Great job Crossfire, for hanging in there and protecting a hard fought lead!

_June 3rd, 2007_________________________________________________________
We traveled to South Portland this weekend, where we were GU13 Play Ups for the 2007 GU15 Chinook Senior Cup.  The girls had a less than stellar first game performance, loosing to SSC Albion.

They won each game that followed, playing teams that were one and two years older along the way, and finally took the Championship by defeating the Columbia Timbers Red.  They played 5 games in 2 days, in 90 degree weather, and showed tremendous tenacity as they raised their level of play to meet the challenge.  Way to go Crossfire!
