Cross Bayou LL-Major League
|
This grandma could not be any prouder!
Many Thanks to Coach Larry & Amos, you guys are the best! TJ Byerly started brand new in the 2009 Fall Ball League and has had a blast. He absoulutely loves the team player attitude that his team mates have shown. Looking forward to Spring session. Happy Holidays to all. Grandma Helen & TJ |

Go Cross Bayou! Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy.
Have a terrific season!
Best regards from Rick Fishman, author of Sandlot Summit, the funniest youth baseball story ever. |

| Best part of my youth was spent at the Bayou. I'd still be playing if we'd just won the District 5 title in 77 ( Chip Bethel, Doug Speeler, Craig Nevitt, Art Stulette, Richard Finn, Keith, Coach Calvin VanAuken, Coach Larry Harp - I believe, others ). I can still hear the "Bayou" chant. I see Northeast and Seminole have been dominant since then - c'mon Bayou, we're due! "Bayou" "Bayou" !! |
