Two Players Named As All Americans!!!

The All Lutheran All American Team was recently announced. Of the 34 players on the 1st and 2nd teams, nine are from Wisconsin and two of those nine are members of the Croatian Eagles Blue. 

Congratulations to Michael D. and Josh O. for being named to the All Lutheran All American Team. This is the second time each of them have been named to this prestigious team. Michael D. (Senior, Martin Luther HS, Central Midfield) was named to the 1st Team and Josh O. (Senior, Martin Luther HS, Forward) was named to the second team.

Update from Europe!
Yesterday the FC Sandor / Croatian Eagles played the top Croatian team NK Zagreb. Even though the Sandor / Eagles played a great game they still fell to the NK Zagreb 3-0.

Today, after sightseeing in Munich, they will be attending the first Bundesiga match between FC Bayern and Bor. Moenchengladbach.

Update From Europe
FC Sandor / Croatian Eagles have found success in their tour of Europe. On July 31st the Sandor/Eagles took on SC Gmunden Milch and won 5-0. On August 1st the Sandor/Eagles took on Union Gschwandt and won 3-1. Next the Sandor/Eagles play the Croatian Nationals on August 4th and finally a local team from Munich, Germany on August 7th.

Reports are that the sights are fantastic and fun is all around. The luge run was a huge success. Even the adults went down the luge and had a blast. On August 5th the Sandor/Eagles will be attending the first Bundesiga match, FC Bayern vs. Bor. Moenchengladbach.

Tourist sights that have been visited/seen include, Halstatt a 3,000 year old village, Hitler's Eagles Nest, St Bartholemew's church, and Salzburg. Tourist sights yet to be visited/seen include, Zagreb Stadium in Croatia, Munich, Hofbrauhaus, Olympic Park, BMW Museum, Dachau, the Alps, Innsbruck Olympic City & ski jump, and Italy (for pizza lunch).

FC Sandor, European Tour 2005

FC Sandor will be traveling to Europe from July 28th through August 9th. Tentative plans released include visits to Amsterdam, Volendam, Traunkirchen, Bad Ischl, Halstatt, Berchtesgaden, Konigsee, Salzburg, Rosenheim, Herreninsel, Innsbruck, Vipeteno, Kufstein, Munich, and more. In addition to the sightseeing, shopping, museums, food, training, train rides, swimming, luge rides, buggy rides, Etc., FC Sandor will be taking in an FC Bayern or 1860 Munchen Bundesliga game.  Four friendly matches are being arranged from the following possibilities; versus a local team in Bad Ischl, versus Gmunden, versus Rosenheim, and versus local teams from around Rosenheim. The trip promises to be a life changing event. Look for more details as the tour gets closer. Stay tuned!
