Braves Friday June 26th the Braves beat the Hopkins Elk Lodge 9-2. On Saturday the 27th the Braves beat the Crystal Pirates 16-4. The next game is Monday, June 28th at 6:00 pm against the Golden Valley Brewers. - Game 3 vs The Golden Valley Brewers.Blake Luttman pitched an excellent four innings while Mike Olson went 4 for 4 with 1 homerun and Carter Schoolmeesters went 3 for 4 with 2 deep homerun blasts to lead the Braves to a 17 hit 14-1 victory. Outstanding defensive play’s by Tyler Knapp and Spencer Hanson held the Brewers in check and kept them off the base paths. The Mighty Braves went 3-0 and are the #1 seed in their pool. The next game up for this fearless group will be Thursday, July 2nd at 8:00pm. - Braves and Reds Both play tonight July 2 8:00 at Central. Reds Game 1 vs. Blaine National D'Backs: Taylor Chell pitched a great game, going 4 and 2/3 innings before being relieved by Tyler Wojciechowski as the Reds hit and ran their way to a 10-5 win. Ryan Peters had a big day at the plate with 3 hits, while reaching base 5 times. Game 2 vs. Upper Tonka Mohawk Jaycees: Tyler Hipp pitched 5 strong innings and was supported with solid play defensively to hold The Mohawks to 2 runs. Reds win 5-2 The Reds play their final Pool Play game Monday night at 6:00 against The South Tonka Joey Nova's.
