Crete Crush: Welcome
Welcome to The Crete Crush.
The Crete Crush organization is a group of players that want to play competitive softball while still having fun! They are dedicated girls that love the sport. They train hard, they play hard. It began with one team, one coach, and a group of girls that had won their in-house league championship and wanted more! Founded by Gina Welsh, The Crete Crush are now entering their 10th season, and have grown to tremendously. The Crete Crush are a girls fastpitch softball travel club out of Crete, Illinois who are committed to providing our player’s with the developmental skills needed to ensure their growth as athletes on the field, as well as the life skills needed off the field. In addition, a strong emphasis will be placed on the importance of academic excellence, good sportsmanship, and positive behavior. The passion that drives the Crush as an organization is our love and respect of the game. Our players are highly motivated to excel in the sport through hard work and dedication, while forming everlasting friendships. Our goal for each season is to have fun, better our skills, showcase our talents, & prepare our girls for each and every game they play all the way until Nationals.
