To make a 2013 season successful the Coon Rapids Baseball Rec League needs a parents to step forward who are willing to help with the league.
(This does not affect traveling)
The planning for summer starts now.
Directors are needed to run the program.
Coaches are needed for all 3 age groups.

After 8 yrs as President, this will be my last season was my last season as President of the Coon Rapids Baseball Rec League.
It has been an exciting 8 years and I am glad that I was able to be a part of growing the league. I have worked with
some amazing people and will not forget anyone.
Please consider becoming involved, you do not have to have a player in the program to run the league, I did not have a son playing in the league. You only have to have the desire to give 13 - 15 yr olds in Coon Rapids the opportunity to play summer baseball and have fun.
If you want to step up to the plate, but are not sure how much time it takes, or if you have any questions, please give me a call.

FIELDING TRYOUTS
Since we hold tryouts outside, and this is Minnesota, Fielding dates are subject to change due to field conditions.
This website will be updated by 3pm the day of tryouts with any changes as soon as they are made.
START TIME IS 6:00
APRIL 2nd = 14 yrs old
APRlL 3rd = 15 yrs old
APRIL 4th = 13 yrs old

Pitch 2 Pitch presents Coon Rapids Traveling Baseball Camp
The focus of this program will be to help progress the traveling age group towards the advanced level of baseball. It will get the players ready for try outs, further their baseball skill and knowledge, and help ease the transition in to High School Baseball in the coming years. The program will geared for the advanced and faster paced, but the focus is on fundamentals and then situations as player skills dictate.Starts: February 11thAge Groups: 13-15 Year OldsDates: Feb 11, Feb 18, Feb 25, Mar 3, Mar 10Times: 4:00-5:30pm (except Feb 25 = 7:00-8:30pm)Where: Maple Grove Dome located at Maple Grove High SchoolThe Coon Rapids Traveling Program will be donating money towards the cost of this program, but we need to know how many kids we will have to determine the final cost per player. The cost of this program will be no more than $65.00 per kid but can go down if we max out the number of players in the camp. Did you know… The Coon Rapids Baseball Rec League provides financial assistance to families in need? Because the CRBRL believes that no young baseball player should ever be denied the opportunity to participate in America’s favorite pastime because of temporary family economic problems we provide the opportunity to apply for financial assistance to families in need. Should you need financial assistance in order to participate in the league, complete the application and bring to registration. If you receive free or reduced meals from the School District, enclose the form from the District office. If you have any questions, please send an email to president@coonrapidsbaseball.com
