Results From WIAA State Tournament
The tournament started great for the four Cougars, as all won in the first round. Adam Davis started with a pin at 5:40. Andy Livingston came up with a pin at 2:32. Cory Upmann won in an upset 8-5. Ryan Peterson had one of the quickest pins of the day at 30 seconds.
The second round was nothing but bad news.
All four Cougars lost, including the upset of Andy Livingston. The kid that beat Andy went on to claim 1st place. The wrestlers that beat Cory Upmann and Ryan Peterson also went on to win state.
Adam Davis, Cory Upmann, and Ryan Peterson also lost in the wrestleback. Andy Livingston was able to win his way to a 6th place medal.
The four Cougars represented the team well, and should be proud of themselves!
Results from Sectionals at Badger
The Cougars were able to get a record setting 4 wrestlers onto the State level after a day of upsets. Adam Davis and Andy Livingston reclaimed their places as Sectional Champs. Cory Upmann and Ryan Peterson wrestled great and placed second, claiming their way to the state tournament.
Alex Livingston lost in a heartbreaker, he was dominating, but got caught in a move. Jake McKillips also lost after starting the day well. Jared Galassini, Brandon O'Niell, Steve Adams, and Jordon Devalk all lost out in the first unforgiving round.

The Cougars walked out of the Verona gym with pride after coming up with 10 sectional qualifiers, including 3 Regional Champions. Stoughton won the Regional, but only beat out the second place Cougars by 17.5 points. Craig's Regional champions were Adam Davis, Andy Livingston, and Alex Livingston. Placing second were Cory Upmann, Jake McKillips, and Jared Galassini. Placing third were Jordon Devalk, Brandon O'Neill, Steve Adams, and Ryan Peterson.

The Cougars came close, but were unable to overcome Parker's depth, and placed second at the tournament. The Cougars scored 254 team points, Parker had 262, and Beloit was a distant third with 165.5 points. The Cougars once again had the most individual titles with six, while Parker had four.

The Cougars got out to a strong start, faltered, and fell behind. The Cougars were behind by 2 points going into the last match, and got the points they needed to win. Starting weight was 125.
At 125, Cory Upmann was up 2-1 when his opponent got injured, and defaulted. At 130, Alex Livingston crushed his opponent, and won by major decision 20-8. At 135, Jake McKillips outlasted his counterpart, winning 15-11. At 140, Adam Hefty looked strong in a major decision 13-5. At 145, Jared Galassini was upset with a loss 11-12. At 152, Brandon O'Neill lost 2-7. At 160, Steve Adams was upset at the last second, losing 10-11. At 171, Brady Hamil lost by major decision 4-12. At 189, Ben Siekert lost by pinfall at :36. The Cougars pounded the Purple Knights to help make Parent's Night a huge success. The starting weight class was 152.
At 152lbs, Clay Kalember struggled with his headgear, but dominated his opponent to 15-8. At 160, Steve Adams showed some great moves to come up with a pin at 1:59. At 171, Brady Hamil continued his improvement with a great win by pinfall at 4:25. At 189, Ben Siekert met with a tough wrestler and lost by pinfall. At 215, Mike Householder battled hard, but lost 3-6. At 275, Ryan Peterson muscled out a pinfall at 3:55. At 103, Jordon Devalk came up short to a tough opponent, and lost by major decision 2-11. at 112, Adam Davis received a forfeit. At 119, Andy Davis out-wrestled his opponent to a major decision 18-7. The Cougars lost their grip on a title run, and lost the invite to a very tough Oak Creek team. Craig finished second, just 2 1/2 points behind state ranked Oak Creek. The Cougars medaled in most weight classes, with Adam Davis, Andy Livingston, and Alex Livingston each coming away as champs.

The Cougars placed fourth this year in a very tough tournament. They finished behind Mukwonago (178), Oak Park/River Forest IL (176.5), and Hartford (170.5). The top four teams were separated by only 9 points, with Cougars coming up with 169 points. Milton ended far behind with 121.5 points.

The Cougars rampaged over the Regents with another strong conference showing. The Regents brought many more wrestlers than in years past, stretching the JV matches out until 8pm.
The Meet started at the 130lb weight class, with Alex Livingston receiving a forfeit. At 135, Jake McKillips came up with a Major Decision 12-2. At 140, Jared Galassini came up big with a technical fall 16-1. At 145, Jake Goike came up with a great pin at 1:47. At 152, Clay Kalember received a forfeit. At 160, Steve Adams received a forfeit.
