Results from State
Andy Livingston was the lone cougar to get by the first day. Andy was able to place third, after losing in the semifinals. Braden Radunzel and Adam Davis both lost in the first round, and unfortunately they weren't able to advance towards 5th place.
Adam Davis lost to Ross Schmidt of Kaukauna 7-8, Schmidt lost to Richie Dunn who went on to be the 103lb champ, tough bracket.
Braden radunzel lost to Jon Slezak of Stevens Point 2-3, Slezak lost to Ben Chapman who went on to be the 140lb champ, another tough bracket.
Andy Livingston won by tech fall over Matt Rudman of Nicolet. Then beat Nate VanSchyndel of Kaukauna 9-3. Andy then lost to Casey Schmitz from Sauk Prairie. Andy then beat Tim Costigan of West Allis Hale 8-5 to take third in state at 112lbs.


Results from Sectionals at Verona
Braden Radunzel and Andy Livingston are headed back to state competition, and are joined by Adam Davis. All three are sectional champions. Braden Radunzel returns to Madison for the third time, this time competing at 140lbs. Andy Livingston placed last year at state, and looks unstoppable at 112lbs. Adam Davis is making his first trip to Madison, but is on a hot pinning streak at 103lbs.
Jared Galassini and Alex Livingston placed third. Jared Galassini won in a close match for third, and unfortunately the man who beat him lost to the sectional champ. Alex Livingston lost to Corey Binger and Sergio Mireles in close matches, they placed 1 and 2 in state.
Jeremy Harnack and Cory Upmann were taken out in the first round.
It was a good day of wrestling in a tough sectional.


Results from Regionals at Parker
Four of the Cougars walked out as Regionals Champs, and only 2 more qualified for sectionals. Adam Davis pinned his way to a regional championship at 103lbs. Andy Livingston won by technical fall to remain undefeated, and claim his regional championship at 112lbs. Jared Gaalassini remained tough and decisioned his opponent for his regional championship at 130lbs. And Braden Radunzel outlasted his opponent in overtime to gain his regional championship at 140lbs.
Alex Livingston advanced to sectionals by placing third at 119lbs, And Cory Upmann advanced to sectionals by placing fourth at 125lbs.
Stoughton was far and away the first place team, and Team Sectional Qualifier.
*UPDATE* Jeremy Harnack placed fifth at regionals, but due to a Stoughton wrestler not being able to compete, Harnack also has qualified for sectionals.


Results from Big 8 Conference Tournament
The Cougars came up 6 1/2 points short of retaining their Big 8 Conference Tournament championship. Parker was able to win the tournament with a single champion. Several of our wrestlers did quite well, including Braden Radunzel capturing his FOURTH Big 8 Title!
Medalist were:
Champions: Adam Davis at 103, Andy Livingston at 112, Jared Galassini at 130, Braden Radunzel at 140, and Brock Schliem at 189.
Second Placers: Alex Livingston at 119, Jeremy Harnack at 135, and Brandon Dillner at 275.
Third Placer: Cory Upmann at 125.
Fifth Placer: Billy Hughes at 145.


Results from Big 8 JV Tournament
The was a 4 man round robin format, the top finishers are:

First Place; Mike Heuser, Steve Adams, Trevor Sullivan, Keith Schroeder, Andy Phaboriboune, Chris Weins, Jordan Hazeltine, Paul Fetting, Brady Hamil, Brian Swanson, and Billy Hughes.

Results from Madison Memorial Meet
The Cougars captured their fourth Big 8 Title by routing Madison Memorial. The team was once again undefeated in conference meets. Starting weight was 152lbs.
At 152, Braden Radunzel wrestled for the last time at Craig, and made a great start for the team with a pin at 3:02. At 160, Steve Adams received a forfeit. At 171, Justin Weberg lost by pinfall. At 189, Brock Schliem also finished his wrestling at Craig with a pin at :53. At 215, Brandon Dillner lost 2-14. At 275, Ryan Peterson won by pinfall at 1:49. At 103, Adam Davis won with a quick pin at :32. AT 112, Andy Livingston continued his unbeaten season with a pin at :46. At 119, Alex Livingston won a exciting match 5-1. At 125, Cory Upmann won by pinfall at 3:48. At 130, Trevor Sullivan also won by pinfall at 1:36. At 135, Jared Galassini won by forfeit. At 140, Jeremy Harnack made his last appearance at Craig a good one with a win, 8-4. At 145, Adam Hefty finished off Memorial with a win, 6-4.

Junior Varsity:
The JV wrestlers competed against Elkhorn JV.
Keith Schroeder won, Brady Hamil lost, Brain Swanson lost. Dennis Wimann lost, Sean Tracey won twice. Paul Fetting lost, Chris Weins lost, Jake McKillips lost, and Nick Reese lost. Dan Yazumbek lost, Mike Heuser won by pin. Jake Goike won, Paul Kroeger won by pin. Jordan Hazeltine won by pin, Abe Arndt lost, Matt Disney lost. Jon Miller won, Ross Rogers won by pin.


Results from Monroe Invitational
The Cougars won seven of the fourteen weight classes to easily win the invite. Craig's team score was 225.5, the second place team, Monroe, finished well behind with 184 points.

Results from Meet at Madison East
The team secured at least at tie for the Big 8 Conference Championship with a win over a tough Madison East team. Starting weight was 112 lbs.

At 112, Andy Livingston remained undefeated with a technical fall 18-3. At 119, Alex Livingston lost in a close match 5-6. At 125, Cory Upmann won with a quick pin at :27. At 130, Jared Galassini won with a nice technical fall 17-1. At 135, Jeremy Harnack lost a tough one 4-7. At 140, Adam Hefty lost by pinfall. At 145, Braden Radunzel dominated to a fast technical fall 15-0. At 152, Brandon O'Neill lost 4-10. At 160, Steve Adams lost 1-13. At 171, Justin VanLoo scored a fine technical fall 18-3. At 189, Brock Schliem came up with a pin at 5:41. At 215, Brandon Dillner scored a nice pin at 4:49, his opponent lost 1 team point for unsportsmanlike conduct. At 275, Ryan Peterson made a dominating pin at :34. And at 103, Adam Davis pinned his opponent quickly at :42.

Junior Varsity:
Brian Swanson won one, lost one. Brady Hamil won one by pin, one on points. Keith Schroeder won by pin, Jake McKillips won by pin. John Terrill lost twice. Andy Phaboriboune won by pin.


Results from Racine Case Invitational
The Cougars sent a Junior Varsity squad to the invitational at Racine, and still was able to place third amongst good Varsity teams!

Placing First at the Invite were Alex Livingston (20-4) at 119lbs, and Trevor Sullivan (8-5) at 125lbs.
Third place finishers were Paul Fetting at 103lbs, Fritz Westphal at 130lbs, Mike Heuser at 140lbs, Billy Hughes at 145lbs, and Steve Adams at 152lbs.
Fourth place finishers were Keith Schroeder at 135lbs, and Joe Kaster at 171lbs.


Results from Craig Invite- Champs Again!
The team made an impressive showing once again, and made it 4 years in a row as Craig Invite champs! The team had six individual champions, one second placer, and two third placers. The second place team, Oak Creek, finished a solid 30 points behind the Cougars.

The Cougars finished second to Hartford after leading throughout much of the tournament. Hartford won with 158 points, Craig had 155.5, Milton was fourth with 134.5 points.
Individual champions were Braden Radunzel at 145lbs (he was also named Mr. Pin of the tournament), and Andy Livingston at 112 lbs.
Second place finishers were Adam Davis at 103lbs, and Alex Livingston at 119lbs.
Third place finisher was Jeremy Harnack.

The meet at Beloit started at the 125lb weight class.
