Clifton Park Youth Hockey: Presidents Message

Wednesday, June 13

Some important CPYHA events coming up soon:

CPYHA night at Papa John's will be on June 20th with 25% of the proceeds coming back to the Association. It is a great opportunity to kick off the new season with pizza, ask your division director for more details or see the flyer on our homepage! CPYHA will again be participating in the 4th of July Parade in Clifton Park. If you are interested in marching in the parade, please let your division director know. The youth hockey players can roller blade, walk, or ride on the back of an impressive army truck (thanks to Dave Nigriny). The parade starts at the Shen main entrance off of Route 146 and we will meet at 11:00 as the parade kicks off at 12:00. Last year we had a great distribution of players from all age groups, boys and girls, and the kids had a blast! Get your candy-throwing arms ready, Victor E. will see you at the parade!!

Summer skills information will be posted soon for both players and goaltenders, keep an eye on the websites as updates will be posted soon.

Enjoy the end of the school year everyone, and we hope to see you at the parade!!

Wednesday, May 30

Hello everyone,

Open the pool, break out the grill, invite friends over, and talk about the Stanley Cup Playoffs!

We will have information coming out soon regarding off-season skill sessions, so keep a watchful eye to the website! Also, as a reminder Early Registration for returning CPYHA players ends on May 31st. Prices for travel teams increase beginning on June 1st.

Please take a few minutes and register for the upcoming season and take advantage of the lowest registration prices! The NYSAHA Annual meeting will be held on the first weekend of June at the Desmond in Albany.

All and any registered USA Hockey parents are welcome to attend. There are many things concerning the Mite division on the agenda, and we will be passing along all pertinent information as soon as we have it.

Have a great summer everyone, enjoy the holiday weekend, and see everyone again real soon!

Wednesday, April 25

Hello everyone,

Short and sweet...

Tier I: Mission Accomplished!

Thank you to everyone who sacrificed their Sunday and were a part of the historic vote that culminated from eight months worth of blood, sweat, tears, and heavy, heavy preparation. Every single person that attended was an integral part of this request passing!

Also, congratulations to the new Northern Zone Capital Region Vice-President Scott Virkler! An honor well-deserved!

Thank you, Brian
