GREAT JOB MAKOS IN OUR VERY FIRST TOURNAMENT.........10U MAKOS great job in the ISA Best of the Best tournament at Jan Phyl complex going 5-0. The Makos scored 32 runs against the other teams. The MAKOS only had 8 def runs scored against them total in the tournament. Out of 16 teams we finished 2nd in the tournament and won $250.00 in prizes. There will be many more tournament wins so keep pounding that rock.......Thanks Coach Joey
The Makos 99 finished the NSA Lutz Labor Day Tournament with a 2-3 record we placed 3rd over all and learned that winning is not everything but giving it your all and having fun is. The Makos hungh in there every game and all games lost were only by 1 to 2 runs. Overall Makos 99 record 14-5-1. Now it's time to practice, practice and practice. Congratulations to the 10U Makos in their Runner Up finish at the Mizuno Summer Championship in Clearwater. 10U Makos great job going 4-1. And what a TRIPLE PLAY to push the game into extra innings. We fell a little short while the 99 Lutz Litgning battled back to win the game. Total record for the 10U Makos 9-1 with two 2nd place finishes. LETS GO MAKOS!!!
The 10U Makos place 1st in the NSA Fall Cup Challenge tournament in Lakeland. The Makos gave it there all every game to bring home our first tournament championship. The bats came alive on sunday with a couple shots to the fence in the championship game. The 10U Makos total 2010 record 12-2-1. Makos lets keep working hard and the future will be very bright. GO MAKOS!
