Makos 99 Fastpitch: Welcome

 Makos 99 fastpitch softball 12U  

Makos 99 is working hard to get ready for the NSA Winter league season. We will have three teams in the Winter league this year Makos01- 10U, Makos00- 12U and Makos99 - 12U.

Makos what a great yr we finished 2011 fall season with a 24-12 record with two runners up and a 3rd place finish at states. Lets keep up the hard work and 2012 will be a great year..... GO MAKOS!!!

NSA Lightning Fall showdown

Way to go Makos going 2-1 in the seed games on Sat. Sunday the girls showed up to play some ball. Getting past the host team with a solid win in the first round to take us into the semi final game. In the semi-final game we where down by five run's in the top of the 5th with no time remaning you girls came back and tied the game. This is a 5th, 3rd place finish and you girls are really doing well let's keep it rolling into the next tournament.................GO MAKOS!!!

NSA Shocktoberfest in Tampa.

Way to go Makos 99 you girls played very well this weekend. Going 3-0 in the seed games on Sat and earning the #1 seed.  Sunday you girls came out swinging the bat and solid D to make it to the championship game. We played a very tough older 98 team that we hung with all game. Going home with the runners up at the end of the day was super. Keep up the hard work. Now time to practice and get ready for some more  MAKO BALL!!!

LET'S GO MAKOS!!!

ISA C STATE : Makos what a weekend of softball we fell a little short but we are really coming together. We went 2-0 in seeds and after the first round on Sun we out scored the other teams 30-2. Our secound tournament game we played well but came up short and got out of there with a solid 3rd place finish..total record for the 2011 fall season 8-3.. Lets keep it rolling...GO MAKOS!!

Makos 99 went 2-2 in the Mizuno NSA tournament. The team played well with great offence. We had our first round game in the bag but with a few mistakes the other team came back and won. All the 99 Makos played ther harts out great job and lets get ready for ISA states.

 

 

NSA Spring league completed and the Makos 99 finish STRONG

Girls great Job in the NSA Spring League...We had our up's and downs it was a great learning experince. Going 2-8 in the reg season play was pretty good. 6 out of 8 lost's where by 1 run and 1 tex tie game... Way to go in the double elemination tournament. You girls are really coming together as a team. Madelyn,Gabby,Veronica,Molly,Erin,Meredith,Alex,Sarah,Madeline,Julia,Madison and Nikki the coach's and parents are very proud of you all.

Makos 99  12U runners up NSA Spring Hill

  Makos way to go this weekend in Spring Hill at the Tampa Diamond -NSA one day tournament. Going 2-2 in the tournament and placing Runners-up is a great accomplishment. We are really starting to come together as a team and the Def adjustments are starting to work.  Lets keep pounding that rock and carry this momentum into the final two Sundays of NSA stars of tomorrow. GO MAKOS!!!

Makos way to finish our first fall season going 3-1-1 at NSA State Tourn. Placing 3rd in 10U Gold (A) div. Makos 99 total fall record 28-15-2.  The bats came alive this tournament and the Def was solid. With one of our best midfielders injured some of you girls where put in positions that you never played befour and played those positions very well. Time to move on up to 12U. 2011 will be another great yr for some MAKO BALL!!!

 Coach Rob THANKS for the great Poker tournament. It was a great night of cards and fun for a GREAT cause *MAKOS 99*. We had over 40 people in the Tex holdem style tournament. Out of the three Mako coaches playing in the Poker tournament Coach Joey was the first coach out of the tournament. Coach Brent was out of the tournamnt just a few hands later. Coach Phil's luck and card playing talent got him to the final table of 10 players. Coach Phil also won the 50/50 raffel held that night and gave the winning money back to the team. Thanks Phil. We will be holding another Tournament in the near future and hope to have another great turn out.  

 

 ISA Bordar Wars 3rd Place : Makos you girls played your harts out this weekend going 3-0 in the seed games on Sat with only 5 def runs scored on you GREAT JOB. The Makos pitchers were dialed in and gave up less then 5 hits during the seed Saturday. With one no hitter WOW.

 MAKOS WIN  Michelle Smith 10U CHAMPIONS. After finding out what flight we were placed in by the TD the Makos focused on the task in hand WINNING. The coachs are very proud of our MAKOS going 5-1 in the Michelle Smith Tournament. We railled back in our 1st game on Sunday. And with two more solid wins take home the championship. Overall Makos 99 record is 19-6-1.....Girls lets keep pounding the rock and LETS PLAY MAKO BALL!!!
