Flashflood Warning, the possibility of severe weather, and the suggestion
by some site administrators, we are canceling today's playoff games.

It is important that you attend this meeting. We will discuss the upcoming tournaments that we plan to attend and also this will be the deadline for you to turn in your dues and information sheets. Hey Girls,
We will be practicing on Mon, Wed & Fro...Dr Johns...4:30 to 6:30pm. No practice next Saturday because Coach Jamine and I will be in College Station for a college tourney.
Time for you all to do your best at making it to practice because we have a few tournaments coming up. More too come on the dates soon. There will also be a parent/player meeting coming in the next two weeks.

Parent's Meeting
The 2006-2007 Lacrosse season kick off meeting has been scheduled for this Wednesday, August 30th. It will be in the Lecture Hall at CPHS from 7-8:30 (there will be signs directing you from the front door). We were so happy to have so many new girls sign up at open house. There is an unprecedented level of interest in girls lacrosse this year. Feel free to invite any interested friends to attend.
If you are a returning player or just curious about the sport this is the one meeting that you need to attend. Parents really need to be here, players are encouraged. You will get a chance to meet and talk to the coach and have any questions about the sport and season answered. We will be discussing tournaments, practice, equipment, the club board, fundraising, dues and the many opportunity for parents to volunteer. A big change for this season is the possibility of forming a JV team.

The 2006/2007 Season is almost here!
The new season is almost upon us. We've already received a ton of interest and may have to field a second team this year! If you picked up a flyer at one of the open houses, we're looking forward to helping you find out everything you need to know about ladies LAX.
The Cedar Park team had girls from 4 different High Schools last year. We're expecting returning players from Cedar Park, Leader and Vista Ridge.
A parents meeting is tentatively scheduled for some time next week (the week of August 28th) if we can get a room reserved. Stay tuned here for more details or listen to the announcements at your school.

2005/2006 Team
Girls Finish Second in Central
Congratulations to the Cedar Park Girls Varsity earning the second seed in the Central district championship. They defeated Austin High 9-6 to advance to the Central finals at AISD Noack field. They challenged undefeated St. Andrew's most of the game before falling 10-5. The girls finished their season at an impressive 8-3 after losing to a powerful St. John's team in the state wildcard semifinal.
