Chicago Park District Tennis Association

Welcome to the
Chicago Park District Tennis Association!

TOP QUESTION #4: "How do I start a new team?"

A: Pick a Park District location (or any location where you can obtain access to five tennis courts), check with the Park District Supervisor as to court fees if applicable and what they need to allow you to reserve the courts for your team's use, then comes the easy part - just mail an Initial Roster form to us along with a check for $85 by the current year deadline (**received by** Sat 5/8 for 2011)! Most teams require at least 12 players on a roster in order to guarantee availability of the necessary 8 players at every match. Now you have a team and at the Captain's Meeting you get your complete summer schedule and are set for a summer of great weekend matches for your whole group!

The forms and the addresses and even more info about starting a team can be downloaded right here: http://www.eteamz.com/cpdta/handouts/
