3rd Annual Golf Tournament
The Pride of Cove Band and Guard Booster Club is hosting the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament to raise money to help our band and guard students. The money raised helps pay for scholarships, equipment, trips, etc.
The tournament will be held at the Hills of Cove Golf Course on 29 March. This will be a four player scramble with an 8 am "Shotgun Start"
Registration:
Non-members of the Hills of Cove Golf Course - $60 per player (see note #1)
Members with out carts - $42.00 per player (see note #2)
Members of the Hills of Cove Golf Course - $30.00 per player (see note #3)
Note #1: Fee includes green fees, 1/2 cart, and lunch
Note #2: Fee includes 1/2 cart and lunch
Note #3: Fee includes lunch

Mulligans: $5 each, limited to 2 mulligans per player, with 1 mulligan used per nine holes
Putting Contest: $5 per entry - Winning Prize for closet to the hole if no one holes the putt
Raffle: Raffle tickets will be sold during sign-in, with prizes awarded during the end-of-tournament celebration
Sign-up: Please sign-up at the Hills of Cove Golf Course Pro Shop or the morning of the tournament.
SPONSORS: Sponsorship of a hole is being offered at a cost of $100.00 per hole which will provide your business an advertising opportunity at a favorable location on the golf course. We will prepare a sign on which we will have your company’s name and other information of interest to the consumer. On the day of the tournament that sign will be positioned at a tee box. Should you also desire to enter a team in the tournament, we will add that cost to your sponsorship at the price of $200.00, for a total of $300.00. This offers a saving over the cost of individual entry fees.
COME SUPPORT THE PRIDE OF COVE BAND AND GUARD AT THE UIL AREA MARCHING COMPETITION
The Pride of Cove Band and Guard will be competiting in the UIL Area Marching Competition this Saturday (27 Oct) in Kyle at Hays ISD Stadium. Admission is $4.00. Their prelim performance is at 3:15 pm. The top 10 bands will advance to the finals which begin at 7:30 pm. So come out to support the Pride of Cove and cheer them on as they compete to move on to "State"
If you can't make the competition, but would still like to show your support then come to the "Send Off" tomorrow at 1000-1015 am on the visitors side of Bulldawg Stadium. Bring your signs, posters, cow bells, etc to give the Pride of Cove an AWESOME Send Off to Area.

Congratulations Pride of Cove Band and Guard
Congratulations Pride of Cove Band and Guard on another AWESOME performance at the UIL Region Marching Competition! The Pride of Cove once again received a Division 1 Rating with 1's from all three judges.
The Pride of Cove Band and Guard will travel to Kyle (Hays ISD Stadium) on 27 Oct to compete in the UIL Area Marching Competition - performance time to be announced soon.

UIL Region Marching Contest
Come support the Pride of Cove Band and Guard on Saturday (20 Oct) at Waco ISD Stadium for the UIL Region Marching Contest. They will perform at 2:30 pm - you may want to arrive a bit earlier to park and be in the stands prior to their performance time. The scores will be announced at 4pm. Hope to see you there and thanks for your support!

Congratulations Pride of Cove Band and Guard
Congratulations to the Pride of Cove Band and Guard for their performance at the USSBA Central Texas Marching Contest. They placed 4th in the Group V Open Category and 6th place overall. 21 bands competed at this competition which was held at the Hays ISD Stadium. Thanks again for all the support from our families and friends!

Pride of Cove Band and Guard Defends CTMC Title
Congratulations to the Pride of Cove Band and Guard for their awesome performance at the Central Texas Marching Championships in Killeen. The Pride of Cove Band and Guard took home the following honors:
GRAND CHAMPIONS of the 2007 Central Texas Marching Championship!
1st Place in 4A
Best Drum Majors in 4A
Best Percussion in 4A
Best Color Guard in 4A
Best Solo in 4A

Congratulations Pride of Cove Drumline
Congratulations to the Pride of Cove Drumline for their 3rd Place Award in 4A during the Central Texas Drumline Competition at Belton High School on 22 Sep. The Bass Line took 2nd place overall. Great Job!
Support the Pride of Cove Band and Guard with the Texas Hometown Band Scholarship Program
Dodge Country and the Pride of Cove Band and Guard have teamed up as part of the 2007 Hometown Scholarship Program, a campaign that will generate scholarship funds for high school and junior high band students in Copperas Cove. The Hometown Scholarship Program is part of Dodge Country's commitment to support high school bands in their local community.
Through November 9, 2007, The Pride of Cove Band and Guard Booster Club members will be at home football games to request $5.00 suggested donations in support of their Hometown Scholarship Program. Of that $5.00 suggested donation, 100 percent of the proceeds will stay with the Pride of Cove Band and Guard to help support their program.
Individuals who donate to the program may register to win a 2008 Dodge Mega Cab Truck and automatically receive a voucher to redeem a complimentary T-shirt at Dodge Country in Killeen.
We encourage parents, families, neighbors and friends of the Pride of Cove Band and Guard to support this program by providing a suggested $5.00 donation at hometown football games. This innovative program creates scholarship money for Band members to further their education, attend band activities, and enhance our band program.
Texas High School Band programs make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing an appreciation for music that will last a lifetime. The Texas Dodge Dealers support of Texas band programs help to ensure quality music education for each student.
We participated in this program last year and raised $2500 for our scholarship fund. We are very thankful for Dodge Country's continued support and sponsoring our band and guard students again this year.
