CoulOak Little League: Challenge
2013 CHALLENGE SEASON
CoulOak Little League will again be sponsoring a Challenge Team program for kids in our league during the 2013 season.
The Challenge Program is an opportunity for kids interested in playing additional baseball at a higher skill level to participate in several weekend tournaments on a “not to interfere” basis with our Little League recreational program. This program formally begins with tryouts in February and these teams will participate in several tournaments throughout the spring, summer and possibly fall seasons, dependent upon interest of the players/parents.
This program, along with the Winter Workouts program we have held the last three years, has been a key factor in the development of our players (and coaches) and the success of our teams in post season play each year. Below is a list of the Head Coaches and the tryout information:

This program is different from our Little League regular season program in the following IMPORTANT ways:
1. Team selection is based on tryouts. The rosters will be limited to 11 or 12 kids, based on coach’s discretion. Not all kids will make a team.
2. Practices and tournaments will be held separately from League regular season games on a not to interfere basis. The Head coaches will be responsible for these schedules.
3. Cost for participation will range from approximately $200 - $300 per player, based on uniform costs and number of tournaments that each team will participate in. Each team will coordinate its own fundraising and/or sponsorship opportunities, which will likely reduce costs significantly for some teams.
If you are interested, please have your child show up at the above listed fields.
