Jameson Park is designated as a passive use park and is not to be used for organized athletics. Please contact your division director if you have any questions.
Wednesday, March 19
Adult Coaches Required to Wear Full Helmets.
Joe Gagliardi and Don Goebel want all leagues to receive notification that Major League Baseball has adopted a new rule requiring all adult coaches to wear a full helmet while on the field. They also wanted all leagues to be informed that they should be implementing a similiar rule to require that coaches must wear a helmet with 2 ear flaps.
PONY BASEBALL will be enforcing this requirement during tournament time (All-Stars).

IMPORTANT CHANGE TO SPRING 2008 REGISTRATIONS
Retroactive to November 11, 2007, families with more than two (2) siblings registering on the same day will be given a $50 discount per player on their registration fee for the third and subsequent players. This discount does not apply to the fundraiser which all players are required to participate in.
If a player from one of these families has to drop out of Corona PONY, a "Registration Refund Policy & Request" form (available in the "Handouts" section) must be submitted within the required timeframe. We will refund only the discounted registration amount for that player. If multiple siblings drop, a "Registration Refund Policy & Request" form must be submitted for each player. The maximum refund will be equal to the registration amount originally paid for the respective number of players dropping. The fundraiser is non-refundable.

PRACTICE FIELDS AT CITRUS PARK
Just a note to those teams practicing at Citrus Park, the soccer field and flat area adjacent to the soccer field are assigned to the Corona Eagles soccer organization. The baseball field and flat area next to the baseball field are assigned to Corona PONY. The sidewalk divides the two areas (see attached handout).

** New Player Registration form available in "Handouts". Download, fill out and bring with you to sign ups. Note that we will not be accepting old forms from previous seasons. **
You must bring a copy of the player's birth certificate for age verification. If the player participated in the 2007 Spring or Winter season, a birth certificate is not required.
A late fee of $20 will apply to all registrations received after the last sign up on January 6, 2008.
Due to expected increase of registrations for the upcoming season, a waiting list will be initiated once divisions are full - this does not guarantee placement on a team. Note that divisions may fill up before the last sign up date. Please plan ahead to sign up on time.
