Tee Ball Rules

1) The Home team will be responsible for lining of the field and placing the bases.

2) Each team will establish batting line up card for the game that includes all present ball players.

3) Each team will provide a coach who will over hand pitch to their batters.

4)Each batter will be granted 3 pitches (Over hand).

5) If the batter does not hit the ball into fair territory on or before the 3rd pitch then the ball will be placed on the TEE and the batter will hit until he or she successfully hits the ball into fair territory.

6) If ball is foul tipped on 3rd pitch the batter will be granted another pitch until batter does not make contact with the ball or hits into fair territory.

7) Then the ball will be placed on the TEE and the batter will hit until he or she successfully hits the ball into fair territory.

8) The Offensive team will continue to bat until half of the line up has batted each inning or until the Defensive team successfully acquires 3 outs in the inning.

9) If 3 outs are obtained by the defensive team before the offensive team has batted half of the batting line up. The offensive team will begin batting in the next inning where they left off. The offensive team will continue to bat until they bat half of the line up or three outs are made.

10) NO SCORE WILL BE KEPT. This is an instructional league and is not intended to create or drive a competitive atmosphere.

11) No Ball player will play the same defensive position in consecutive innings.

12) No Ballplayer will play in the same defensive position more than 2 innings in the same game.

13) Base runners will advance only 1 base at a time on a hit ball that remains in the infield.

14) Base runners may advance at own risk 2 bases on any ball hit beyond the infield.

15) Base runners will not Advance on a thrown ball.

16) Parent Coaches are encouraged to be on the field to assist with ball player instruction but at no time will they be allowed to assist with the catch or throw of the ball.

17) Defensive team will field 10 ball players only.

18) The Defensive team will play the standard infield positions; 1st base, 2nd base, Short Stop, 3rd Base and Pitcher.

19) The Defensive team will play the following NON-Standard positions; Left Field, Left Center Field, Center Field, Right Center Field and Right Field. (ALL OUTFIELDERS WILL PLAY ON THE GRASS and NO CLOSER TO THE BATTER THAN HALF THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE NEAREST INFIELD AND THE OUT FIELD FENCE).

20) No Ball player will sit out more than 3 consecutive Defensive outs.

21) Each team is responsible for any and all trash in there respective dug outs and on there side of the bleacher area. Teams that do not pick up there trash upon completion of each game will not be allowed to participate in the next game.

22) Visiting Team will be responsible for picking up the bases and properly locking the storage facility.


Rookie Boys & Girls Baseball
Rookies Division Rules

1) A Coach/Adult will pitch to his/her respective Team.

2) Strikes will be called by Umpire.

3) Each batter will be awarded 5 pitches per at bat. A batter will be called out on 3 called and/or swinging strikes. Failing to put ball in play after 5 pitches the batter will be called out. The batter cannot end his /her at bat on a foul ball unless caught.

4) No base on ball is awarded.

5) Five run per inning in effect.

6) Only one base on an overthrow will be awarded. A runner can only score from third on a batted ball in play. If a runner is going to 1st base and the ball is overthrown the runner may advance to 2nd base at own risk. That is ONE base on an overthrow. If the defensive team throws the ball to 2nd base to try to get the out and it is overthrown the player must stay at 2nd base. If the ball is hit to the outfield, the runner may advance as many bases till the ball passes the grass line into the infield. The runner must stay at the base headed toward at time of ball entering infield.

Example: The ball is hit to the outfield, runner is heading towards 2nd when the ball enters the infield regardless of where the ball enters of overthrown. The runner stays at 2nd.

In-the-park home run is possible if the runner is fast and the ball never enters the infield.
