Dear Little League Members: Welcome to the 2008 season! We at Coronado Little League are very excited to begin the new season. Our 2008 season will be full of many new and exciting improvements to our facilities.

As always, volunteers are needed and will be greatly appreciated. If you can help please contact a board member an let them know.

Volunteer Coaches will be named and draft selection for teams will be held during the last week in February. Ball Players should be contacted by their coaches and first practices can be held the first week in March.

Ball Player Uniforms will be distributed by March 31st.

Opening day will be in April. Opening ceremonies will begin at 10am with Team Pictures to follow as scheduled and ball games to begin.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Umpire clinics will be held in March for all interested.

It is a wonderful opportunity for parents to get involved! Each parent will be asked to volunteer as an umpire at some point during the season, take this opportunity to become more familiar with the game.

Our consession stand is the single largest source of fundraising for our league. Volunteers are needed daily to help run it. Please take the opportunity to do your part! Keep an eye out for the many exciting changes as they progress and please volunteer your time and expertise for a project! This is truly your league and your facility.

Together we can make it a Premier Ball Park! Andy Darnell
