In the game 1 win of the Championship series, sophomore Morgan Stuart set a Women's College World Series record for doubles with four (4).
For their efforts, both Morgan and Niki were named to the 2009 WCWS All-Tournament Team.
This marks the second year running that Corona Angels have been part of the WCWS Championship team and made All-Tournament. Click here to read about last year's NCAA Champ & All-Tournament Team member, Lesley Rogers of ASU.
NOTE: Each NCAA Softball Championship was the first for both ASU & UW.
Congratulations to all the Corona Angels alumni who punched a ticket to the 2009 WCWS to include Stacey Nelson, Kim Waleszonia, & Shaunice Harris (all of Florida); and Lesley Rogers & Kaylyn Castillo (both of Arizona State University).
