The Peewee A Typhoons won a silver medal at the 2009 OWHA Provincials. The 16 top teams from across the Province participated in the showcase tournament. The Typhoons had a strong round robin portion of the tournament. They won their first game 2-0 against the Sarnia Lady Sting. The second game ended with the same result against the Scarborough Sharks. Their final round robin game was a 4-1 loss to the Niagara Falls Rapids. With a second place finish in their pool they had to take on the first place Clarington Flames. The girls came out strong and put the flames out early and never looked back winning the game 4-1. A win in the semi final game guaranteed them a medal and the team worked hard for a win against a tough Oakville team ultimately winning 1-0. In the gold medal game the girls came up short of coming home with the gold but were very proud to wear silver around their necks. The coaching staff was extremely proud of the girl’s commitment; preparedness and the belief they would succeed.

Ottawa - The Cornwall Warehousing, Cameron Networks and Truck Stop #9 Bantam B Typhoons are the 2008 & 2009 ODWHA League Champions.
The Typhoons made it to the finals after going undefeated in their four playoff games. The opposing team was the regular season champions, the Nepean Wildcats. The Wildcats had not lost a game all season long during the regular season and during their first four playoff games. The girls were determined to give the Wildcats all they can handle in this one game take all. From the drop of the puck the Typhoons speed was too much for the Wildcats and they were rewarded with a 3-2 Championship win.
