BASEBALL: CORNWALL MIDDLE SCHOOL GYMNASIUM

(MAIN STREET, CORNWALL)

L.L. BASEBALL AGE IS THE AGE THE BASEBALL PLAYER ATTAINS PRIOR TO MAY 1, 2012

THE FOLLOWNG PLAYERS DO NOT TRY OUT

Ø  Girls aged 5–8 prior to January 1, 2012

Ø  Girls aged 11-12 prior to January 1, 2012, who played on a CLL Major Softball division team in 2011    

Ø  Girls aged 13-16 prior to January 1, 2012

Ø  Boys aged 5-8 prior to May 1, 2012 

Ø  Boys aged 11-12 prior to May 1, 2012 who were on a CLL Major Baseball division team in 2011        

Ø  Boys aged 13-16 prior to May 1, 2012.

SCHEDULE FOR TRY OUT CANDIATES BY LL AGE GROUP 

 Please Note the Following

Ø  If you are the parent of a 10 or 11 year old boy and you DO NOT wish that player to be        considered for a Major Division team, PLEASE NOTIFY THE PLAYER AGENT at tryouts

Ø  Your child must attend tryouts, or be excused by the League Officers   

Ø  Unexcused absence may prevent selection to higher division. 

Ø  Notify us in advance if your child cannot attend

Ø  Please arrive ½ hour before scheduled try out time

Ø  Bring a change of footwear so that we are on the gym floor with clean sneakers only!

Ø  Players trying out must bring a baseball or softball glove. DO NOT BRING BATS.

Ø  Parents are not allowed in the gymnasium. Please drop off and pick up your child at designated times

Ø  Requests for team placement will not be accepted

Ø  No food or drink allowed in the gym
