MR. TERRY ALLEY, THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT YEARS - WE'LL MISS YOU!!
Welcome to Corey and Taite's website!! This site was created
for our sons whom both have a great interest and involvement
in youth wrestling.
Corey attends Augusta High School and Taite goes to Robinson
Elementary in Augusta, KS.
My name is Danny and my wife's name is Kimberlea(pronounced Kimberly!)
We have been involved with all aspects of youth wrestling for
over 10 years including planning & organizing tournaments, serving
on local & state boards, and showing a great deal of support to
our kids and family friends who have also been involved with youth
wrestling over the years.
Corey has had a tremendous personal career throughout his years as
a wrestler, and just keeps getting better and better! His younger
brother Taite, is following older brother's footsteps and shows
alot of aggresiveness and eagerness to learn and have fun while in
the process.

 |
|
| TAITE ROCKIN' JUSTIN!!
|
|
Taite and Justin Mcphillips locked horns again at the Augusta
Invitational which was held on Saturday January 27, 2007.
Justin came out on top as he threw Taite in a headlock and
he couldn't get out of it. There's bound to be more challenges
between these two before the season is over!!

TAITE GETS THIRD AT MULVANE..
Despite the nasty drive to and from Mulvane this past weekend and avoiding
an almost sure accident in Derby, we had fun at the Mulvane Invitational
this past weekend. Taite went 2-1 to earn 3rd place. Taite lost to a
wrestler form Garden Plain, whom he had beat twice at another tournament.
That's the way the ball bounces, but he knows that he needs to get more
agressive on the mats. We are out of town this weekend attending Chanute
but Taite will attend all the scheduled practices.

TAITE GETS A BAD CALL...
 |
|
| TAITE'S LIKE, COME ON REF..I GOT HIM!!
|
|
 |
Here'e Taite at the Tom Faust Memorial held at Derby on Jan. 30, 2006.
He wrestled Kuhn from Maize(getting pinned!!) and was a heck of a match to see.
Kuhn led through all three periods, and had a score of 10-3 with about 45 seconds in the 3rd period. Taite suddenly hits a hard half on Kuhn and gets him on his back. Taite clearly had a pin and as the referee slapped the mat the towel came flying in. We all clearly saw that Taite had him beat but it didn't work out, oh well it did show that Taite is not to be underestimated. His face tells it all!!

"THE CHAMPION" a wrestling poem
He was a man of flesh and blood. He wasn't made of rock.
Angel, devil, child, - man of ordinary stock.
But somehow he was different - true athletes always are-
For as he cursed, sweated, and bled, he took pride in the scar.
They told him to win like a man, no matter what the cost.
So many times he ventured forth, so many times he lost.
And when they turned around and said, "It's OK son, you tried."
He clenched his headgear in his fist, and like a man he cried.
But from his tears came anger, then when it ceased to spin,
He rose again, determined that next time he would win.
His trembling body strengthened, his heart soared in the sky.
His darkened soul stood flaming, there was fire in his eye.
He worked and worked relentlessly, he struggled and he strained.
His conscience whipped him mercilessly for every ounce he gained.
He ran on legs like pistons, his muscled arms grew sore
He'd tell himself, "I have to" then ask himself, "What for?"
And then at last the reckoning, the final hour was here
His stomach tightened dangerously, his muscles tensed with fear.
Weak-kneed, he shook the challenger's hand-
and then, as one possessed,
His instincts gave him power, and his body did the rest.
It suddenly was ended, His body seemed to scatter
A crowd was cheering somewhere, but to him it did not matter.
One thought was gleaming in his brain, a thought that made him smile,
He'd given it all he had, and that's what made it all worthwhile.
He stood and faced his teammates, with pride instead of shame
He knew not that he'd won or lost, but that he'd played the game.
And some call him THE WRESTLER, and some call him A MAN,
But he called himself A WINNER...
and the ref held up his hand.
