JD Results
All JD's should be submitting their results to Paul Self pself@richmond.sd38.bc.ca no later than September 16 so that he can determine eligility for a BC Athletics Crest (Bronze, Silver,Gold).
If you have not kept "track" of your child's results, most of them are available through BC Athletics - on "Results Round-Up" – each meet is listed. http://www.bcathletics.org/main/results_index.htm#T&F
There is a downloadable Excel document on the Cheetah website (look under "athlete results") that lets you enter them all in one document. You can also do it the old fashioned way, meaning that you can print it and fill it out by hand. Make sure that you indicate your child's PB (personal best) for each event this season. If you want more information about the BC Athletics Crest standards and criteria, go to the BC Athletics website and click on "Junior Development" then "JD Crests".
Monday, September 14
Cross Country season will begin on Saturday September 12. We will meet at the Chilko parking lot in Mundy Park at 10am sharp and will be running in the park. Practice will be one hour long and we will be meeting at the same location on Tuesdays at 4pm. For more information about Cross-Country, please contact Paul Self pself@richmond.sd38.bc.ca.

Coquitlam Cheetahs Track and Field Club has 3 Officials from Levels 3 to 5, and a number of parent volunteers who have worked at the Cheetah invitational for many years. If parent volunteers are interested in upgrading to Level 2 and beyond, please contact jbarring@telus.net to provide upgrading information.

The Coquitlam Cheetah's Annual General Meeting and Registration will take place Thursday February 12, 2009 at 7pm in Room #7 at the Pinetree Community Centre. (1260 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam).
Please download the Registration form, fill it out and bring it along with a cheque for the fees as well as a copy of your child's birth certificate (if it is not already on file).
Fees for 2009 have changed:
Junior Development (9-14): $310
Youth (15) Juvenile (16-17)/Junior(18-19)/Senior(20+): $380
