Gary LeClerc Team 11/12's

Coach LeClerc is the head girls coach at St. Marys Middle School in Newington. He has been coaching over 20 years. He has also coached at St Pauls in Berlin and St Joes in New Britain. His boys team at St Joes won a numbers of league championships. Coach LeClerc is a founder of the Ct Fire Program and serves on the board of director

Samantha Krupa Team 13's

Coach Krupa has been the assistant head coach/JV coach at Tolland high school for the last two years. Coach Krupa played her high school basketball at Cromwell High School and college basketball at St Joesph in West Hartford. She has been the co-coach of the Ct Fire 13's and the Ct Fire 15/16's and head coach of the 10's and 14's for Ct Fire. She also served as an assistant coach for Ct Fire for three years.

Wayne Hapgood Team 14's

Coach Hapgood is the girls varsity head coach at Bolton High School. He was the assistant head coach/JV coach at Tolland high school for three years. Prior to that he worked as a coach and acting AD at Holy Cross Middle School in New Britain for 23 years, serving the last 10 years as the girls varsity head coach. Coach Hapgood is a founder of Ct Fire and serves as it's contact person for basketball related matters (Clinics,Camps,Tournaments)

Tom Collette Team 15's

Coach Collette is the girls basketball coach at Holy Trinity and has filled that position since 1992. He is also the Athletic Director at Holy Trinity 1996 to present. He was a coach for the Silver City Slammers girls AAU program from 1999-2004. He has been a basketball counselor for Hoop Mountain basketball camps. From 1980-1982 he was the Assistant men's coach at Union College, Schenectady,NY and from 1982-1982 he was a graduate Assistant Men's coach at Springfield College, Springfield Ma.

Mike Jagoda Team 15's

Prior to joining the Fire, Coach Jagoda has spent five successful years as the assistant coach for both the Holy Trinity School girls junior varsity and varsity basketball teams. Coach Jagoda is currently the head coach for the Holy Trinity girls basketball team

As the girls varsity assistant coach for the 2006-2008 seasons, coach Jagoda has helped compiled a record of 74-9. Both of those teams made it to the State Playoffs and the 2007-08 team won the State Championship and the New England Championship.

Coach Jagoda is a certified youth basketball coach and coaches girls basketball at the Wallingford park and recreational league.

Frank Mensinger Team 16's

Coach Mensinger was the assistant head coach and JV coach at Rockville High School for the 2008-2009 season. Prior to that, he worked as the girls varsity head coach at St James Middle School in Manchester. He has been coaching for more then ten years. Coach Mensinger is both a certified High School and Youth coach. He also coached girls basketball for the Manchester Basketball Association and the Manchester Travel Program.

Todd Lentini Team

Coach Lentini is the girls varsity head coach at St Paul Middle School in Berlin. His teams over the years have won a number of league championships and are the 2007 Hartford Archdiocese State Catholic School Champions. He has been the 15/16 coach for Ct Fire for the last five years. He is one of the orginal coaches for Ct Fire and serves as the head webmaster for our website.

Mark Mercier

Coach Mercier is the girls JV coach at St Paul Middle School in Berlin. He has also been the assistant head girls coach at Holy Cross Middle School in New Britain. Coach Mercier has been the 13/14 coach for Ct Fire. Coach Mercier is one of the orginal Ct Fire coaches and serves on the board of Directors.
