Police / Fire Game 2005 
This year's Police / Fire Charity Hockey Game was an awesome time and all the money collected went to a very good cause! The game was dedicated to Officer Bryan Hurst & Officer Melissa Foster of the Columbus Division of Police, who lost their lives in the line of duty. Everyone involved would like to thank all of our fans and supporters who showed up for the game. Both teams had a great time, but in the end the Columbus Firefighters won again for the fifth year in a row 3-1!!!

2005 Columbus Tournament

Orlando Tournament 2005 
Photos from the second Central Florida Public Service Tournament. We finished with a new team record of 3-1 with wins over El Paso Fire & Police, Central Florida Enforcers & Fairfax County Fire. Stats and records are posted under the "Stats" and "Schedules" sections of our web site.

Junior B / Fire Game 2004 
Photos for the 3rd Annual Benefit Game with the Columbus Junior B Blue Jackets. The Junior B team defeated the Fire 7-5. But fun was had by all and $650 was raised for CD-101 for the Kids.

Hats For Heroes Game 2004 
Photos from Tyler Wright's Hats For Heroes Charity Hockey Game (Charity Police and Fire Challenge Sponsored by Pepsi)Team players include members of the Columbus Fire and Columbus Police Hockey Teams & Columbus Professional NHL Hockey players! A great time was had by all the players and their was even talk of making this an annual event!
We raised over $25,000 from this event and ALL proceeds went to TYLER WRIGHT'S HATS FOR HEROES program which benefits local pediatric cancer programs in Central Ohio!!!

Police / Fire Game 2004 
This year's Police / Fire Charity Hockey Game was an awesome time and it was even bigger than last year! The game was dedicated to our friend, Luke Murray, a 10-year veteran with the Columbus Division of Police & a member of the Columbus Police Hockey Team, who lost his leg when he was injured by a land mine serving his country with the Army Special Forces in Afghanistan. Luke dropped the puck in a ceremonial face off before our game. We played right after the Columbus Blue Jackets / Colorado Avalanche game on February 28th, 2004. There were more than 3000 fans in attendance for our game. Money raised was donated to our local charity Get Behind the Badge. Everyone involved would like to thank all of our fans and supporters who showed up for the game. Both teams had a great time, but in the end the Columbus Firefighters won again for the fourth year in a row 9-2!!!

1st CFD Hockey Ski Trip 
Photos from the 1st Annual Columbus Fire Hockey Ski Trip. This was our first time organizing a ski trip and besides for the bad weather & broke down bus, everyone involved had a great time.

Police / Fire Game 2003 
This year's Police / Fire Charity Hockey Game was an awesome time and it was even bigger than last year! We played right after the Columbus Blue Jackets / Calgary Flames game on March 8th, 2003. There were more than 2000 fans in attendance for our game. Money raised was donated to our new local charity Get Behind the Badge. Columbus Blue Jacket players Jody Shelley and David Ling visited with both hockey teams after the big game. (Check out the photos!) Everyone involved would like to thank all of our fans and supporters who showed up for the game. Both teams had a great time, but in the end the Columbus Firefighters won again for the third year in a row 4-2!!!

Ft. Wayne Game 2003 
Photos for the 2003 Exhibition Game against Ft. Wayne Fire. It was a hard fought game but in the end Columbus Fire came out on top with a 6-5 score. There was a great turn out of fans to the game and an outstanding support for the food drive. We managed to fill five large barrels that were provided by the community harvest food bank. The day in whole turned out to be a great success. Thank you to Tammy Berk for taking the photos!

Andyman-a-Thon 2002 
The Columbus Fire Hockey Team donated one of their new home white jerseys to CD-101 for the CD-101 for the Kids - 10th Annual Andyman-a-Thon. The Andyman-A-Thon is where Andyman stays on the air for 50 hours straight (from 5pm December 23rd to 7pm Christmas Day) to help raise money for the childrens charity simply called CD-101 For The Kids. Kevin Connell & Chris Janiak were on the air live with Andyman from 4:00pm until 5:00pm on Dec. 24th taking bids on the jersey. The jersey brought in $150 and with the money raised at the 2002 Crush / Fire Game, the Columbus Firefighter Hockey Teams raised a total of $850.00. The Andyman-a-Thon raised a grand total of over $60,000 for various children's charities in Central Ohio.

Crush / Fire Game 2002 
Photos for the 2nd Annual Benefit Game with the Columbus Crush. For the second year in a row team Crush defeated the Fire 3 to 2. But fun was had by all and $700 was raised for CD-101 for the Kids.

FDIC Tournament 2002 
This was the 6th straight year that the Columbus Fire Hockey Team has entered into the FDIC Hockey Tournament in Indianapolis. This year we had a very tough schedule, including Franklin Park IL, Chicago, & St. Louis County. Although we finished 0-3, our combined "B/C" Team had a great time and we look forward to playing in the tournament for our 7th year!

Detroit Tournament 2002 
This was the 1st year that the Columbus Fire Hockey Teams entered into the Detroit Firefighters Charity Hockey Tournament. We took our "D" Team as well as a combined "B/C" Team. Although we did not win as much as we hoped for, everyone had a great time and we look forward to playing in the tournament again next year!

Police / Fire Game 2002 
This year's Police / Fire Charity Hockey Game was a huge success! We played right after the Columbus Blue Jackets / Nashville Predators game on January 6th, 2002. There were more than 1500 fans in attendance for our game. Over $2000 was raised for the New York Firefighters & Police Officers widows and Children's fund. Several Columbus Blue Jacket players visited the Hockey Teams before the big game. (Check out the photos!) Everyone involved would like to thank all of our fans and supporters who showed up for the game. Both teams had a great time, but in the end the Columbus Firefighters won again for the second year in a row 5-4!!!

Andyman-a-Thon 2001 
The Columbus Fire Hockey Team donated one of their jerseys to CD-101 for the CD-101 for the Kids - 9th Annual Andyman-a-Thon. BJ Charity Game 
Columbus Blue Jackets held a Red, White & Blue scrimmage that drew a crowd of 4,000 and raised nearly $35,000, which was collected by members of the Columbus Fire and Police Department hockey teams to benefit victims of the tragic events on 9-11-01.
