COLORADO DISTRICT TWO CHALLENGER DIVISION OF LITTLE LEAGUE INFORMATION

 
What is Challenger?
The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League Baseball to enable boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities.  Summary and Implementation: Beginning in 2015, Little League Challenger programs may create a two-division structure allowing players league age 18 and above to register and participate within the Challenger program. Players league age 4-18 may participate in the Little League Challenger Division,while players league age 15 and above may participate in the Senior League Challenger Division. Players League age 15-18 may participate in either division

Teams are set up according to abilities, rather than age, and can include as many as 15-20 players, who can participate in one of three levels: Tee-Ball, Coach-Pitch or Player Pitch.
