Playing on the Colorado Bandits Baseball team helped me in many ways. First of all my overall skill level improved dramatically in the two years I was with the program. I learned the proper skills in all aspects of the game and it really prepared me for the next level. The coaching staff was very professional, disciplined and organized. The team always played the game the correct way. I am amazed how people around the country are starting to hear about the Bandits program. Schools all over are starting to take note of the type of players the Bandits program produces. Another thing about the coaches is they will keep working with you even after you leave the team. The opportunities to learn, meet new people and succeed never stop. This was a big stepping stone in my life and career in baseball and I owe a lot of it to the Colorado Bandits.

Playing for the Colorado Bandits was a great experience.  I played two full seasons with the Bandits and it definitely improved my game.  Coach Bland is very well educated in the game of baseball.  He does not only help you to improve your skills on the field for success, but also teaches you how to win.   Without playing for the Bandits I do not believe I could be where I am today.  Coach Bland has many contacts in the baseball world and can help you to find the right place to play at a higher level if that is what you are looking for.  Two of the best summers of my life can be credited to playing for the Bandits.  I cannot thank everyone in the program enough for everything they have done for me and I would highly recommend this program to any high school player looking to play at the next level.Wade Wedow – Kansas Central Christian College

I played two seasons for Coach Bland on the Colorado Bandits.  I learned a lot about baseball from Coach Bland. He helped me improve my skills, but he was more than a coach to me and my teammates. He was a mentor. He taught me about hard work and commitment and dedication. I learned many things from Coach Bland that have helped me further my baseball career. Jake Pederson – Doane College

Being part of the Colorado Bandits Baseball program has developed me into a smarter/fundamentally sound player, has provided me with opportunities in life, and has created friendships that will never fade. Coach Scott’s and Coach Josh’s knowledge of the game and their persistence on developing you into a better baseball player will change you from a mediocre ball player; into a player that out works, out hustles, and out plays his opponents . Playing for the Bandits has provided me with the opportunity to extend my playing career into college. I am grateful for all that Coach Scott and Coach Josh have done to transform me from a boy into a man. They went from being the best coaches I ever had; to friends I will never forget. One of the best times of my life was playing for the Bandits.Eric Payan – Otero Jr. College

The Colorado Bandits is one of the premier baseball programs in the country.  Their teams play the game the right way & they run their program the right way.  I consider Scott and Josh Bland to be two of the best coaches in the country at any level.  Players are fortunate to be in their system.  You will become a better baseball player and a better person by being a part of their program.

The Colorado Bandits is an excellent program to get players ready for the next level.  I have signed several players from this organization and have never had one I regret.  They come ready to play and have a vast knowledge for the game. Bandits will develop you as a player and get you the exposure you need to become the best player possible and be placed in a school that fits you.  Scott and Josh have one thing in mind, and that is the development and placement of the players in their program.

We make the Colorado Bandits club a priority to recruit from every year. They always have players coming out who are hard nosed guys.

Having coached in the Jayhawk Conference for over 6 years I have found
there to be a only a few programs that offer the consistent qualities
that I am looking for in a player. Colorado Bandits (Scott & Josh Bland) have
done an outstanding job of reshaping high school players from Colorado
and teaching them the fundamentals of the game physically and mentally.
Their players come in with an edge over others. They are more prepared
and well informed on what it takes to play baseball the right way.
Kyle Crookes - Head Coach -Hutchinson Community College

We have recruited players from the Colorado Bandits baseball program and have been extremely pleased with the kids we have taken.  They always come into our program not only very talented but very well prepared for college baseball.  More importantly than that we have had great student athletes and people, two perfect 4.0 students and players that put education and baseball first in their college life.  All of these ingredients factor into my feelings that playing for the Colorado Bandits greatly prepares players for their Colligate baseball experience.

The Colorado Bandits has an excellent Coaching Staff that prepares players for the next level.  If you're a high school baseball player who wants to compete at the college level - Bandits is the place to play.  If you're a college coach looking to get quality young men who understand the game - Bandits is the place to look.  You must love the game of baseball to play for the Bandits coaching staff.  The players get great coaching every day.  If you've had the opportunity to Meet Coach Scott & Josh Bland you understand what I mean.  I look for my top freshmen to come from the Bandits.  If you want a taste of the next level you're looking at the right program for development and placement.

Parents

Finding a program to help develop your son will be one of the most important decisions you will make. I was both leery and skeptical of most of the coaches I had seen. After watching Coach Scott work with his kids and talking with him, I knew this was the right program for my son  (it was one of the best decisions I ever made). The coaching at every level is second to none. They will develop your son into a better baseball player and teach him what it takes to reach the next level. The lessons my son learned were instrumental in the success he has had adjusting to college baseball. The coaches for the Bandits are also some of the hardest working guys I know at finding schools for their players. After going on several recruiting trips and talking to the college coaches it was evident that they hold the Colorado Bandits in high regard and would much rather see a player play for a competitive team than their high school summer team. It was not an easy decision for my son to bypass the high school summer season but once again proved to be the right one. When my son returned to his high school team the next spring it was evident the progress he had made by playing the tougher competition. Now that my son is done with the Bandits and Ive had time to reflect on all that has happened and everything I have seen since we started the program, all I can say is I am very thankful we chose the Bandits over the other programs in the state. Thanks Coaches,  (Scott and Josh) for all you have done to get my son to the next level.

My son played for the Colorado Bandits. My only regret is I wish we would have known about the Bandits a year earlier. He would have played for the Bandits instead of his high school team. The things the organization promoted were character, respect for the game, competing at a high level and teamwork. They provided an avenue to travel and compete against teams that exceeded what was available in the Colorado area, exposing them to college coaches outside our region and to highly competitive teams that truly measure the player’s abilities.  Playing that type of competition, creating a positive atmosphere and being able to accurately evaluate and refine the skills of my son coupled with Scott’s baseball networking contributed to him obtaining a scholarship to play at the next level. I highly recommend this organization if you want quality baseball provided by coaches who care about the players whether it is on or off the field.

Our son was dissatisfied with his high school baseball program for several years. After scouring the Internet for baseball alternatives, I discovered the Colorado Bandits and called Coach Bland. Scott improved our son's pitching skills, and more importantly, restored our son's confidence. Our son enjoyed and looked forward to working with Scott. One thing led to another, and our son ended up playing summer ball on the Bandits team. Playing for the Bandits got my son exposure to colleges. This exposure resulted in numerous offers from various colleges about our son's availability. If you think your son may have what it takes to play college ball, I highly recommend the Bandits program.  The coaching staff and level of instruction is outstanding and the college exposure he'll receive far surpasses what any high school programs can provide. Don’t wait until your senior year to play somewhere besides high school ball you will never get the exposure you need to play college ball. But if you play for the Bandits you will get all the exposure you need to get to the next level.
