High School: Led Paul Pierce's Collins Hill Eagles the last three years, helping the team to the 5-A State Championship Final Four in 2006, as well as the 5-A Region 6 Championship that same year...Earned three varsity letters while a member of the Eagles.

2008 (Freshman): Used primarily as a relief pitcher, making a team-high 27 appearances totaling 38 innings … Saw limited time at shortstop and third base … Struck out two batters in two innings in firs career decision, a loss against FGCU (3/23) … Picked up first career win at Kennesaw State (4/18) … Pitched a career-high 3.2 innings against Western Carolina, allowing only one hit and one walk while surrendering no runs and striking out a batter (4/23) … Went 3.0 innings against Lipscomb, striking out one and allowing no runs (5/9).

    2006: Appeared in 12 games, with two starts, as a freshman ... he went 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA, recording 11 strikeouts in 16.2 innings of work ... Made first collegiate appearance against national champion Tampa, allowing one hit with two strikeouts in two-thirds of an inning ... Longest outing with 3.1 innings against Shippensburg.

    High School: Graduated from Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga. .... Was a scholar athlete and was named All-State by the Georgia Dugout Club ... Also received All-County honors.

    Ryan Chromek, Valdosta State University, Valdosta, GA
    Ryan Chromek who graduated from Collins Hill in 2000 and had three varsity letters.  Signed and played baseball at Armstrong Atlantic University where he played 2 years and then transferred to Valdosta State University and played two full years until he graduated in 2005.

    Class of 1998

    Billy Dooley, Brewton-Parker College, Mount Vernon, GA
    Billy Dooley a graduate of Brewton-Parker and is currently the Eagles 9th Grade Manager and Varsity Assistant Coach. In addition, Billy leads the Eagles Varsity Softball program.
