2007 Spring Season Assignments
- Games begin on February 24.
- To be assigned games, call the CSA Referee Hotline at (817) 251-3202
- or email Diana Mueller at mueller5@verizon.net
- For younger referees, discuss your availability with your parents
- Check your club or team schedule as well as church and school calendars for possible conflicts prior to calling
- Referees should call with your availability ... not your parents
- If a referee is not responsible enough to manage this task, then that individual is not responsible enough to referee
- Call the hotline on Thursday or Friday prior to the next week
- Example: Call on 02/15 for games for the week of 02/24 - 03/02
- Leave a message with your Name, Telephone Number and availability for the coming week
- The referee assignor will match your availability and referee rating to the available games
- There are occasions when the number of available games is limited
- Do not expect an immediate response. If you have not received a call by Wednesday of the current week, call again.
- Example: If you provided your availability for 02/24, call again if you are not contacted by 02/22
- Your rating is determined by your referee grade level, past performance and skill level as evaluated by the VP - Referees and other Senior Referees
- As a referee, you are a professional and bound by the Code of Ethics
- Once you accept a game, you may not cancel this assignment to take another more favorable assignment
- You may not trade assignments without the prior consent of the Referee Assignor or the VP - Referees
- If you are ill or have another valid reason for not being able to complete your assignment,
- if prior to 24 hours before game time, then contact the Referee Hotline immediately
- if less than 24 hours before game time, call Diana Muller (817-980-1693 cell) immediately
- if no contact, call Tom Brill (817-528-8904 cell)
- Cancellations for non-illness related reasons require a minimum of 48 hours of advanced notice
- failure to adhere to this policy may negatively impact your future assignment of games
