Tsunamis Are Awesome!!
The Tsunamis were awesome in Brenham at their first meet! The coaches were so impressed with the enthusiasm, the effort and the talent that we saw! It's going to be a great season!
In case you are wondering, we will post the entire meet results at the Natatorium on Monday. Also, on the bulletin board we will post each swimmer who has qualified for the Ponderosa Invitational or the Red, White, and Blue Invitational. Please check this list each week! In addition, we will update our team records each week and post those on our bulletin board.
Also to answer a commonly asked question about Heat Ribbons. The teams in our division agreed that no relays will receive heat ribbons. All 6 and under swimmers will be given a heat ribbon after each individual race and the winners of each heat in 7-8's and 9-10's will be given a heat ribbon.
Finally, for ribbons earned at the Brenham meet, they will be available to be picked up at any practice during the week. They will be grouped together and alphabetized by family. Place ribbons are given out for individual and relay finishes from 1st through 6th place. Personal Best ribbons can be earned after the second meet that a swimmer participates in. The first meet establishes his/her times and then they can earn Personal Best ribbons at any meet after that.
