Swim Meet Information for June 6th Meet
Our next meet will be at home against Lee County on Saturday, June 6. We expect a full house of Tsunami Swimmers (about 160)! Even if your kid gets sick or your plans change as late as Friday, it is important to let us know, so that we can replace your child in a relay and keep the ready bench working well.
Remember to buy your heat sheet for $2.00 and our concession stand will have plenty of snacks and ice cold drinks so remember to bring that extra change lying around the house! (Plus it's easier than packing a cooler!)
Tsunami check-in is from 7:00-7:45. Our warm-up is from 7:20-7:30 for 10 and unders and 7:30-7:45 for 11 and older. Your swimmer must check in with Mrs. Pence and see his/her name highlighted on the list. It's a good idea to put your numbers on your hand the night before the meet, so you're ready to swim when you get there on Saturday, but we will have extra event lists and sharpies in case you want to take care of that when you get there Saturday morning.
Lee County has a small team and will probably bring about 35 swimmers, so we expect the meet to be finished by 12:00 at the latest. (we will start at 8:15 am). For our meet to run smoothly, it takes the excellent help of many of our parents. Please show up to your volunteer assignment on time!
