The coaches below are all Associate Coaches for the Fallon Center for Youth Sports, LLC. They are available for private instruction, email guidance and general information on the recruiting process. They all have experience and have demonstrated that they are working in this industry for the right reasons, to help students get to the next level! These coaches will also be available for FCYS/Pilots activities, camps, clinics, showcases and tournaments as the season progresses. |
BRIAN BERGER - Hitting and Infield Play
Brian was a standout player at Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, AZ where he played for his father and hall-of-fame coach Bill Berger. In 1996, Brian was recruited to play baseball at Mesa Community College in Mesa, AZ by Tony Cirelli (2004 NJCAA Regional Coach of the Year.). Brian finished his career at MCC as the T-Bird award winner and Most Valuble Player. He followed in his fathers footsteps by going to play for the Arizona State Sun Devils. While at ASU, Brian was a short stop for Pat Murphys 2000 Pac-ten champions. After finishing his career he stayed at ASU as a graduate assistant coach and the director of all of Coach Pat Murphys youth baseball academy camps. Brians first head coaching opportunity was in the summer of 2001 in the Arizona Summer Collegiate League where he lead his team to the championship game and won his first championship the following year in 2002. In 2002, Brian accepted the head varsity coaching position at Tempe High School in Tempe, AZ. At 23 he was the youngest varsity coach in Arizona. In four years Brian took the Buffaloes from a 2-29 record to their first playoff birth in 8 years. In 2006 Brian was named the East Sky Regions Coach of the Year for turning around the Tempe program and beating top ranked teams. His school also named him Tempe Highs Coach of the Year. In Brians four years of teaching he has twice been awarded the Hero Award, an honor voted on by the graduating class, naming their four most influential teachers. In 2006, Brian was given the Tempe Union High School Districts Excellence in Teaching Award. Brian has spent the past five years committed to improving youth baseball in Arizona and around the country. He has directed all of Pat Murphys ASU youth camps for the past 3 years as well as working as a director for the Scottsdale Instructional Baseball Camps and Americas Baseball Camps. Brian Currently lives in Chandler, AZ with his wife, Julie and two children. |

JEROMIE SPILLMAN - Pitching

Jeromie has a tremendous amount of experience and passion for the game of baseball. Being a left handed pitching from Arizona, he took a typical path of most Arizona high schoool baseball players and has the ability to relay those experiences to current students so they can do what is in their best interest. Jeromie has his Masters Degree and attended and played baseball at Grand Canyon University after two sucessful seasons at Eastern Arizona College. After college, Jeromie was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays organization in the 37th round and in July of 2001 was named the organizations "Pitcher of the Month". By 2003 he had worked his way the Major League Spring Training camp with the Texas Rangers and worked under local resident and current Seattle Mariners manager, Don Wakamatsu. Currently, Jermie coaches with the Angels Scout team and at Copper Canyon High School. If you would like to schedule lessons with Jeromie, please contact him directly. |
TP WALIGORA - Pitching

TP Waligora had a successful pitching career spanning 8 porfessional seasons with the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates and Tampa Bay Devil Ray organizations, winning the Arizona League and the Florida State League Championships and leading the Florida State League in appearances and relief wins. TP was an All East Conference pitcher at the College of Williams & Mary, setting single season save record as the team's closer. Graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a 4.0 GPA and was regularly on the OU president's List Has been coaching for 12 years, including a stint as the Pitching coach for Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. |
