Fallon Center for Youth Sports: ALUMNI
I have been involved in helping high school students find the right colleges since 1989. When I started, I really thought that the college I worked for and coached at was right for everyone. By 1993, I realized it wasn't. Although a great school for some, it was certainly not a good match for others. I began to realize the only way that I can find a completeness in my career, was to create something that allowed me to work with every student and every college. THUS .. the College Planning Center was born.
1996, I met John Gracio, at the time an Area Scout for the Chicago Cubs and his part-time scout, Dick Pruitt. Grac and Dick introduced me to pretty much every scout in the area and both were instrumental in getting me involved in scouting professionally. I owe the success of this business to those two men, as they helped to shape my understanding of a draftable player and a college player and taught me the importance of being brutally honest with players, because in the end you are helping their careers.
Since that time, we have worked together on and off to help these students find the right place to play at the college level.
I do plan on getting back into college athletics one day .. because I miss the college atmosphere and feel I can serve a worthwhile purpose on a college campus, but for now ... having the opportunity to coach so many people through this process is an incredible feeling of accomplishment and gives me a good sense of service.
Since 1996, I have personally worked with almost 1100 student-athletes in finding the right college. My track record and experience is hard to match. I have been named an expert by many national publications, including "College View" and "College Finder".

| Sean Amerson celebrates full scholarship to BYU with Tanner and Hunter Fallon |
BRADLEY UNIVERSITY-IL
-Curtis Hornaday (Arcadia)* BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY-UT
-Sean Amerson
Former Pilot, Sean Amerson signed to attend Brigham Young University in Provo Utah and will play baseball for the Cougars this season. Amerson will receive a baseball scholarship and is extremely excited about the opportunity. After pitching for the Pilots since the fall of 2002, Sean has really blossomed into one of the top pitchers in Arizona.
Highlights to Sean's Pilot career were helping to take the 2004 Pilots Junior Olympic team to National recognition and numerous tournament championships ... highlighted by a PERFECT GAME at the USABF Fourth of July Classic in San Diego.
Sean earned a scholarship to Chandler Gilbert College out of high school after being offered a scholarship (but turning it down) by NCAA Division I, Siena College in New York.
At Chandler-Gilbert, Sean became roomates with fellow Pilots Armando Moran (Rincon HS now University of Arizona) and Carlos Ramirez (Sunnyside/drafted LA Angels). "As their Coach," Jeff Fallon states, "It was such a great feeling seeing three guys who did not know each other before their Pilot experience become roomates at the college level ... and continue to find success at each stop."
Amerson is quick to thank Velocity Sports in Gilbert (Rich Barker & Glenn Steele) for helping him take his body and his ability to the next level.
Sean followed such great former Pilots as Joe Mather (Mountain Pointe, now with St. Louis Cardinals) and Jeff Larish (McClintock, now with Detroit Tigers organization) in 2001 and Doug Mathis (Show Low now with Texas Rangers organization) and Anthony Hatch (Horizon, now with Toronto Blue Jays organization) and we expect great things from Sean, because like the players listed above ... he understands adversity, has learned how to work at his craft and will continue to compete.
Congratulations Sean, Derrick, Melinda and future Pilot Justin ... from your Arizona Pilots family
