Fallon Report -

A free service provided to college coaches and for assistance in the National Team Identification Series (NTIS) for USA Baseball.  This report provides an honest and realistic evaluation of baseball players in the southwest.

It is important to note that unlike recruiting services, other reports or websites ... we actually coach these players or coach against them.  We are on the field with them, talking to them and getting to know them.  Our evaluations are not only done from the bleachers or behind a fence ... we are on the field, in the dugout and in some cases in the classroom with the players. 

NEED:  We realize a need in providing this information to college coaches.  Most do not have the funds to travel throughout the country to actually see players.  Those who do, want to have a filtering process where they are evaluating guys that can really play at their school ... can really get into their school and would be a good fit at their school.

This has been why the Fallon Sports College Planning Center has been so successful in placing students in the RIGHT colleges.  Since 1996, the key for us has always been the retention of these kids.  Its important that they choose the right school the first time around.  We follow each student while they are in college to monitor their success, so we can use this information for future students.  We understand that the reason our reputation is so strong within the college community is because we have always been honest and straightforward with them.  We understand the need to get kids to stay for the four years .. and not transfer.  Thats why we have developed the "Fallon Report".

For the student not in high school, it begins to give them a realistic gage of where they stand against the remainder of the players in their class.

METHOD:  We have developed a very detailed evaluation system that uses the 5 tools (arm strength, hitting for power, hitting for average, speed and defensive skills) added in certain key components that are critical to the overall success of students at the college level (academics, character, reliability and athleticism) and added a tenth evaluation which is the intangibles the student brings.  For us, intangibles are those characteristics like competitiveness, work ethic and sportsmanship.  All baseball related grades are on the 20-80 major league grading scale.  An equal grading scale has been developed to equate the onfield evaluations with the off field evaluations.  It is important to note that these evaluations are not for professional baseball nor does it mean that certain players ranking higher than others are better baseball players, it just means we feel they have a greater chance of success in a college program. 

EVALUATIONS:  Below you will see the top players in each class from the people we have evaluated.  If you are not here, maybe you have not been evaluated or need to be re-evaluated.  We make evaluations monthly and will continue to update this page at the end of each month.  Remember the goal of this report is to provide college coaches, players, their parents and the baseball community and honest look at which players have the greatest chance of finding success at the college level.  On this list, you may not find the best skilled players, but it will be the top student-athletes who will have the greatest chance of success at the college level.  This will include all college levels (Division I, II, and III, NAIA and Junior Colleges).  This report in its entirety (and all contact information) is provided to college coaches FREE at the end of each month.  If you would like your information in here or in the Fallon Report for college coaches to see, please email jeff@fallonsports.com so we can stay updated with you.  This is also free to the student-athlete.

New in 2010 we will create what we will call the Arizona Elite 48 in each class.  This list will be used to help in our evaluations for the National Team Identification Series (NTIS).  Our goal is to invite the Elite 48 to compete against each other in a weekend tournament to help us in the road to selecting Team Arizona.
