Colorado School of Mines
NCAA II:
The Colorado School of Mines baseball program is in a time of change. The program has just hired the first full time baseball coach in the programÂ’s history. With the new leadership and full time position the program is moving in a positive direction. In the last two years the school has put nearly one million dollars into the baseball field. They have built new dugouts, backstop, lights, cages, fence, and now we are in the process of building a new press box. As you can see the Mines program is headed in a new direction.
Colorado School of Mines is one of the premier math and science institutions in the nation. The student body is about 4,000 with a student to faculty ration of 15:1 and on average the undergraduate class size is 27 students. CSM offers degrees in chemical engineering, chemistry, economics and business, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, geology, geophysics, math and computer science, metallurgy, mining, petroleum engineering, bioengineering, and physics.
Mines is located in Golden, Colorado only 15 miles west of DenverÂ’s downtown business district. The Golden community of 17,000 is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and offers a small town atmosphere with convenient access to big city attractions.
