Hello Coles Little League parents,

We wanted to let you know that the CLL team and individual pictures are now online for anyone who would like to place an order.  You can simply order through the website and they will be sent to your home or feel free to contact us to place an order over the phone.  The pictures ordered on picture day have been delivered to the league and you should be receiving them shortly if you have not already.

To view the photos, go to www.LydellPhotography.com and click HERE to view the pictures.  Follow to Baseball, Coles 2012 spring and then to the age group and team.  Please note that the pictures posted are unedited and they are much smaller files for posting purposes.  The printed product will reflect our typical high quality professional product.

Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.

Altered Batting Helmets May Not Be Used
Little League has passed the following rule regarding batting helmets:
Rule 1.16 and 1.17 (Baseball and Softball)
Warning!
Manufacturers have advised that altering helmets in any way can be dangerous.  Altering the helmet in any form, including painting or adding decals (by anyone other than the manufacturer or authorized dealer) may void the helmet warranty. Helmets may not be re-painted and may not contain tape, or re-applied decals, unless approved in writing by the helmet manufacturer or authorized dealer.
This rule will be strictly enforced by all league umpires. Any player wearing an unapproved, altered helmet will not be permitted to step into the batter's box.

Little League Challenger Program
Challenger2007
Once again, Coles is sponsoring a CHALLENGER PROGRAM team for handicapped youngsters.  This Little League chartered "no fee" program provides the Little League Baseball experience to those who are not physically able to participate in the regular program.  The players, their buddies, and all of the volunteers who have participated in the past have had a great time.  If you have a youngster, ages five through high-school, who would be interested in playing, or if you can volunteer some of your time to these ballplayers, please contact Don or Josie VanWingerden at vanwingfamily@verizon.net.

The Challenger Team participated in the 3rd Annual Challenger Jamboree in Virginia Beach the weekend of May 9th-11th.
