Fall Basketball League
Here are the dates for registration for the upcoimng basketball season: November 3, 2007 9am to 12:00pm, November 17, 2007 9am to 12:00pm, and December 1, 2007 9am to 12:00pm. All regristrations will take place at the Coconut Community Center 1100 Lynos Road
Ages: 6-16
Participant’s age as of June 1st, 2008 will be used as division criteria.
The Parks and Recreation Department will be conducting participant registration on the following three Saturdays listed above.

Registration is open to all residents of Coconut Creek and only non-residents who participated in the 2007 Youth Basketball League.

- Volunteer coaches are needed. Contact the Recreation Complex or the Coconut Creek Community Center if you are interested in volunteer coaching.
- Three proofs of residency and a copy of each child’s birth certificate is required for registration.
- No cash. Only checks, credit cards (Visa/MasterCard) and money orders are accepted. Payment must be made in full. Cost is $80.00 for each participant.
- Non-residents who participated in the 2007 Youth Basketball League must have a valid sports card at registration. A sports card can be purchased at either the Recreation Complex or at the Community Center. The cost is $60.00 per card. Money orders and checks must be made payable to the City of Coconut Creek.
- The participant draft will take place during the week of January 7th, 2008.
- League practice will begin in mid-January 2008, and the season will run from February 2008 through May 2008.
- Registration will also be available for our “Shooting Stars” division, which will be geared toward children with special needs. This division is open to ALL Coconut Creek Residents and ALL Non-Residents ages 6-16.
Participation in the leagues is based upon the number of volunteer coaches. A failure to get a sufficient amount of coaches can result in a refund of your registration fee. Participants may play at the Recreation Complex or at the Community Center.
