Cochrane Referees Association: Scholarships

Attention: All recently graduated Grade 12 and post-secondary CRA Officials
The Cochrane Referees Association is pleased to announce that through the generous sponsorship of Northland Pontiac Buick GMC, we will be awarding two separate $500.00 scholarships to current members of the CRA.
One scholarship will be awarded to a CRA official recently graduated from Grade 12 in 2008 and is planning on post-secondary education, and the second scholarship will be awarded to a CRA official that was attending a college or university in 2007/08 and have enrolled for another term.
Any CRA official interested in applying for the 2007/08 CRA Northland Scholarship must download, complete and submit the Application Package to the CRA by October 15, 2008. Both CRA Northland Scholarships will be awarded at a press conference at the beginning of December.
Past winners include Craig Vassie & Stephen Chapin in 2004/05, Shayne Caron & David Marcial in 2005/06, and Alan Chapin & Jesse Merriam in 2006/07.
The CRA is pleased to take another positive step forward in the promotion of hockey officiating and the opportunity to assist worthy student-athletes on their quest for higher education. We could not have accomplished this without the thoughtful and generous support from the people at Northland Pontiac Buick GMC.
