Girls Catonsville Cobras Travel Soccer

This web page has been set up to keep you informed of news and changes for the 2002 girls travel soccer team.

The travel team will play fall soccer in competitive leagues which holds games in the Baltimore area from September through mid-November. Fall games will be played on Saturdays for the most part with possible Friday night games. We will be playing @ SoccerDome for our winter session.
The Winter games may be scheduled on a weeknight or weekend.

This team is geared towards the player that has the desire to play at a competitive level.

Our coaching philosophy is to expose your daughter to a higher level of play, further develop her soccer skills, life skills, and instill good sportsmanship, all while having fun and building friendships with her teammates.  Our coaching goal is to prepare each player for their future high school team.

We prefer to keep the roster size as small as possible to maximize field time for each player so we will require a high commitment to games attendance through the season.

There will be a financial commitment of between $200 & $250 to cover uniforms, referee fees, indoor field fees, a preseason tournament, etc.  This will be determined by what leagues we participate in and the roster size. There may be additional fees for entry into additional tournaments.

To be eligiable to play on the U-12 team the plays birthday has to be on or after August 1, 2002. As a U-12 team competing in local leagues the team will be playing an 8v8 aside game with a roster limited to 14 players, however we will only retain 10-12 players inorder to maintain a high game time to player ratio.

Prior to tryouts please download the TRAVEL REGISTRATION FORM  and PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT fill it out, sign it and bring it to the first tryout. A check for $100, made out to Catonsville Rec & Park, must be turned in with the registration form along with acceptable Proof of Age. All Players must attend at least 2 tryout sessions. It is important for Players to make as many of the dates as possible.
