COACHES:

Denny Anderson and Christa Packer were inducted to our HALL OF FAME, both brought their vision of a successfull and competitive softball organization and were instrumental to Cobra's success.   Thank you for inspiring and making it possible for hundreds of girls to play softball from the surrounding area.

PLAYERS:

Hannah Pruden #24-----Mattoon High School
  Hannah who was affectionately known by her teammates and coaches as "Hank". Started playing softball at the age of eight years old with the cobras and never played any where else. She started out being a middle infielder and a pitcher, finally settling at second base. After offers from other colleges Hannah decided on Parkland College to play softball and continue her education

Mariah Stewart#14--- Charleston high school

Mariah known to her teammates and coaches as "Moe", join the cobras at the age of 13. Mariah was a first baseman and a pitcher for the cobras all through her career. Being a mere 5'12" tall she was extremely effective in those two positions. Mariah made her decision to attend Kaskaskia college to continue her education and play softball in the summer of 2012

Courtney Schultz #53---Stewardson-Strasburg High School

Courtney known to her teammates as "Courty Sue"joined the cobras at age 15. She came into the cobras to play third base, and her lightning quick hands made her a mainstay there. After having three offers Courtney made her decision in the fall of 2013 to attend Kaskaskia college to continue her education and play softball

Ashley Purvis #13----Mattoon high school

Ashley was also known as"Ash" came to the cobras at the age of 13. She realizing the team needed an outfielder so she made the adjustment from the infield to centerfield.. After settling in in center actually became The outfield general that the cobras could count on. After visiting different colleges Ashley decided on Kaskaskia college to continue her softball career and her education in the summer of 2013

Danielle Bell #2---Windsor high school

Dani known to her teammates and coaches as "Deuce", came to the cobras at the age of 12. She played shortstop and was a catcher being 5'2 and 95 pounds opposing coaches found out quickly why she wore the catchers gear. Her Field intelligence and quick release gunned down the runners on a routine basis.. After considering four different colleges Dani decided to play softball and continue her education at Kaskaskia college in the summer of 2012

Inductees will be players or coaches who finish their travel ball career with the Cobras and have been with them for at least 3 years.
We will make the induction at our annual meeting or at nominees convenience.
