Congratulations on the team's very successful Summer Slam Tournament. We finished in 2nd place in the 8 team field. Our team won their first 2 games beating Aston Valley and Abington, before falling to Valley by one run in the 3rd game. This however was enough to advance to the semi-finals where the team beat Upper Dublin 2-0 in a pitcher's duel.
We met up with powerhouse Central Perk in the championship game. Central Perk was averaging over 20 runs per game and had won all of their games, but our Warminster team battled them to the end. At the end of regulation, the score was tied 5-5, as we went into extra innings. Central Perk's hitting prowess eventually took the game however as they won 7-5 in the eigth inning.
